In early December I purchased a high tech touchscreen table the size and weight of an average coffee table for almost $200.00US. Over a month later, I received in my mailbox a paper thin envelope with a tag describing the inside contents to be the (Touchscreen Coffee Table).

It feels as if the contents is that of a paperclip. The weight of the contents is listed on the envelope as that of 0.01 Kg and the inside value of 5.00 (US$). I am mad beyond belief!

I too was ripped off by the same company

AUTHOR: DON - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, January 19, 2019

I just read your report after getting off the phone with my credit card company to dispute the charges. I too was scammed by the same company. I bought a inflatable hot tub for my mother off an advertisement I saw on facebook on Jan 2nd 2019. I also bought a hand held forklift capable of lifting 300 lbs into my truck. I paid 98.00 for the hot tub and 89.90 for the forklift.

My mother called me and asked if I sent her a skinny envelope package ( just like yours ) that says cel phone charge with a parethesis describing inflatable hot tub. Mine said cel phone charge with parenthesis ( hand powered forklift lest you easily lift over 300 lbs )....weight 0.05 and cost $5.... I didn't know what she was talking about until I got mine in the mail today.

On my credit card bill it describes a differnt company for both items. when I got the thin package I tried calling the number offered on the package but was not in service. I also tried their website but they have none.

My credit card company is crediting me the amount I paid and giving them time to dispute the claim. This has happened to me once before. I thought I would have learned by now but I guess not. I know now that if it's advertised on Facebook don't buy it......

Hope you get your money back.

Don.
