Jiffy Lube Jiffy Lube #203 No Oil After Oil Change Elmhurst Illinois

On 6/19/2008 I took my 2005 Nissan Altima into Jiffy Lube for a routine oil change. I also had the engine flushed and the oil filter changes as well.

On, 6/23/2008, while on my way home from work, the car started to sputter and then stalled. I had the car towed to a Nissan dealer. Well after his inspection, he called to tell me that the engine siezed due to ther being less then ONE quart of oil in the car. WHAT??? I told him I just had the oil changed and Jiffy Lube stated that they put in 5 quarts of oil. The cost to replace the engine, $6500.

Called Jiffy Lube Corporate and told them the problem, they gave me a claim number and said that somone will be out to inspect the car. Thats where it stands now.

After reading many stories on the internet where Jiffy Lube has many issues such as mine, I'm thinking that I will need to get a lawyer and take them to small claims court.
