Jim Glover Chevrolet strong armed, high pressure, dishonest sales Tulsa Oklahoma

After over 5 hrs of being brow-beat, I drove off the lot at Jim Glover Chevrolet, crying! Driving a 2006 HHR, that I was not sure I wanted,that had 30,000 miles and paid over $18 thousand for it!! They never told me I could get a new one with no miles for the same price!The starting price on it was $20,000!!!!!

I was just out looking at cars, not sure I wanted to trade in my Blazer, but I took my title with me just in case I found a great deal. The first salesman I worked with took my information and I guess took it to either his manager or finance or someone. He came back and said OK, lets sign the papers. I asked what papers? He wanted me to start the paperwork to buy the car! He hadnt told me the price of the car, how much they would give me for my car....NOTHING! He had to go back to the manager and I overheard him say "she wants to know how much the car is and how much for her car". The sales manager came back and more or less took over.

Even though I told him many times I was not sure I even wanted to trade in my car, I want to go and think about it over the weekend, he would keep saying, "What if we do this, or what if we do that"....I should have walked out, but the guilt trip he laid on was thick..."We have to make our quotas, the snow and ice storm set us back". After about 3 hrs I finally agreed to just over $17,000 for the car and they payoff mine. I waited another 1/2 to go to finance, where I again pleaded for them to just let me think about it over the weekend. They got the sales manager back in there and he said "dont you like the car?" I told him yes, but as I said, I just dont know if I really want to do this at this time. I pleaded to no avail.I again asked if I could just go home and think about it over the weeked, He said no "90% of customers who leave without signing dont come back". He asked "dont you like the car" again. "Dont you like me, do I stink?" and on and on...and the looks he would give me... It was just awful!!

Finally, at more than 5 hours I couldnt take anymore. I signed the paperwork (which the price for the car was somehow over $18,000) and got out of there. As the original salesman was putting the temorary plate on the car he said "congratulations""you get nice car". I told him, then why am I about to start crying!!! Which I did!!!

If you are smart DO NOT GO TO JIM GLOVER CHEVROLET!!!! Especially if you are a single woman!! I have bought many cars on my own before, all thru a great dealership in Michigan, and done very well. THESE GUYS AT JIM GLOVER ARE GOOD! Good at HIGH PRESSURE,BROW BEATING, GUILT TACTICS, DISHONEST PRICEING!!
