I have a complaint about the John Beck Mentoring system. Ordering the initial program that only cost me $40 to check out. Someone from John Beck called me a few days later to sell me the Mentoring system that cost me $1600. They didn't try to sell me the higher priced mentoring that I have been reading about.

I was adamant on the call that I didn't have the money for a mentoring system. The reason they sold it to me is they "guaranteed" they would walk me through my first sale, which would pay off the amount I "borrowed" on my credit card. They recommended I charge the $1600 on my credit card, then move the balance on a $0 balance tranfer offer on another card. By that time I should have had my first sale which would pay off the $1600. They "promised" they would "coach" me until I mad my first sale, they would not drop me. Guess what! That is exactly what happened....they dropped me.

I only had a few phone calls from my mentor which consisted of him asking me if I was serious on the first phone call. The next phone call he wanted me to go take a look at "for sale by owner" homes. After that, my mentor avoided me. I called the company, left several voice and e-mail messages, etc. I never heard back from anyone. No one responded to my complaints. Also, when you call, no one answers the phone so you have to leave a message. One time I did reach someone and they told me that I'm not "in" their mentoring program. I was very angry about that. I paid $1600 and they don't have me in their system? She couldn't help me because I wasn't in their system.

I believe it is a scam because there is no mentoring involved! What was I paying for? A recommendation to look at a few homes? I could have figured that out on my own! I couldn't get my money back nor demand my money back because I couldn't get in touch with anyone. They didn't deliver what they promised me.
