This all started on December 30, 2012 when I ordered the following parts for my 2003 Honda Element EX AWD:

Monroe Sensa-Trac Premium Strut 72135 and 72136         $65.70 each

2 Monroe OE Spectrum Premium Strut 71101                    $63.00 each

2 Monroe Strut-Mate Mounting Kit 901940                        $10.80 each

1 Monroe Strut-Mate Mounting Kit 906919                          $24.30

1 Monroe Strut-Mate Mounting Kit 906920                           $24.30

Totalling up to $316.80. I then got a small discount of $12.67 which brought the total down to $304.13. 

The 1st of many problems is that the parts didn't get delivered until 3 weeks later. The the 2nd problem is that when the parts did come in, the strut-mate mounting kits (901940,906919, and 906920 didn't come with the packages that were delivered. I then had to wait another 3 weeks to get those in. The 3rd and 4th problem was that when the time came to install my new struts (which was about 5 months later due to the fact that I was still doing major head, valve, camshaft work to my 2003 Honda Element the struts started leaking after about 3 months and the strut mounts in the front lasted about 4 months. The front struts have now gone to about 40% life (less than 1 year of actual driving)......When I contacted just suspension they started giving me the run around. they gave me such stories as "go buy new struts we are not responsible" contact the manufacturer, but the manufacturer which is Monroe/Tenneca says to contact the online retailer" they also told me in order to replace them, they would need me to first send the bad struts and strut mounts back and then they would think about sending me new ones.
