K&B Transportation/Western Livestock Express Ended my driving career South Sioux City Nebraska

I see there are alot of complaints about K&B Transportation on here! It is easy to understand why. I started there 12/2008 as a Sara Lee Dedicated Driver based in Green Bay, WI operating out of the Rochelle, Ill office. On 01/05/2009 I called in stating that a previous injury had re-appeared and that I needed to go to the doctor. They said to go and call them when I was done. They also wanted a medical release. I did as I was told. The doctor put me on restrictions that they would not accomodate. They said they were sending someone to pick up my truck, and that when I was medically cleared to return full duty they would get me back to terminal and get me into a different truck to start working again. Then they kept my last paycheck. They charged me for the airfare and cab for the driver picking up the truck. I began a long battle with them, filing a wage complaint through the State of Wisconsin. After 41/2 months I was able to get part of my money back. They violated several employment laws of the State of Wisconsin, and I fought them hard all the way. I finally settled for a smaller amout then they owed me, but I proved my point and did not give up. I also filed a wrongful discharge/discrimination complaint against them through the state. They made me think I was employed until I was cleared back to work on 02/10/2009. I was sending them updates all the time and stayed in contact. On my DAC report they are stating that I quit without notice on 01/05/2009, the day I first called in about going to the doctor. All their talk at orientation(which they DO NOT pay for, and did not reimburse me for my drive there)about talking care of yourself is all BS! They talk about other carriers sneaky tactics, all the while they are doing the same and worse. Matt Tipton and Sean Barragan are the people I dealt with the most. What a bunch of moral-less liars. It's no wonder they work at K&B. They all have stories to tell about how they handle things. It is all just a joke. Also they say Big sign on bonus, it does not exist! Period! They pulled the same minimum wage crap on me. In the end they lost also, but now my DAC is all messed up and they are ruining my job search. I have filed multilple disputes through USIS, with lots of evidence and proof of my side of the situation, but they still have not changed anything. They said the company only has to verify the information being disputed once. But I have verified it several times to no avail. Then again, the carriers are the paying customer and USIS makes billions of dollars a year providing the info the customer wants to display. If us drivers were paying that much then maybe it would more in our favor. I hold the same contempt for USIS HireRight as I do K&B. My next step is to sue them both. Anyone esle want to get involved? I could go on and on and on forever. Drivers please take my strong advise and stay far, far away from them. They still have not filled my position because all of my complaints against them are now public record. The alw can help if you live in the right state(like WI, not NE) you just have to stick it out.
