My husband and I purchased our wedding rings 5 yrs ago at Kevin Jewelers at the Valley Plaza, Bakersfield, CA, some 5 years ago. Since then we have bought diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet.
I received a $50 gift card before Valentines Day, I assumed because we had done business with them. I went in today to see if I could use it. I asked if they had anything for under $50 and he told me no. I saw a small gold hoop (single) that I knew my husband would like and asked how much it was. He pulled it out and told me $18, but that I couldn't have that. It has to be one item of $50 or more and I have to pay the taxes. He was rude, uncaring, and treated me as if I'd found that gift card on the ground and was trying to get a freebie, instead of a long time customer whom sports their jewelry.

Customer service is important to me. I will not go back there again.
