Was pressured into (hard sell) buying a replacement protection plan on a TV purchase. So when the TV died tried contacting the Kmart. After goiong thru serveral numbers over and over agin from the reciept. Was told a tch had to make a in home visit and attempt repair. Was told if it couldnt be repaired that day an in store credit Well the tch came and coudlnt repair had to order (didnt have with him) a circut board. Asked about replacement was told contact Kmart.
Contacted Kmart after several different transfers and going over the reciept numbers everytime was told oh no we cant replace you have to wait for the parts to come in and have unit repaired. Thus missing yet another day of work. As they cant do better then a 4 hour window on when they can come out. They claim their not responcible for how the sales person reprecented the plan and that there was nothing they were going to do to make anything any better than the week wait.
Obviously its not Kmart or Sears intention to take care of its customers after the sale.

It doesn't matter what you remember being told, the WRITTEN agreement governs everything. If you didn't throw it away after you got it...READ IT. Let us know, afterwards, if they are violating the terms of the agreement.
