went to Look at used cars, next thing i knew i had a new car that is overpriced, wasnt given a chance to think it over and go back the next day...was lead to believe i got a Deal, and i now am locked in to a much higher price than i should be, and they lead me to believe it had cruise control and it doesnt. Even the "beaters" Ive had over the past thirty plus years have had cruise control. what a rotten deal, and how in the world can i get outta it? Id like to know asap!!!! of course after the fact i looked up the kelly blue book on it and yes, i was ripped off. and that is a rotten thing to do to a person. its low. See how low they will go. and i was warned after the fact that that's the last place i should have went in Lakeland FL. Go anyplace else but there. it is a rotten dirty trick to play with someone who works real hard for a living. Home of the Dirty Deal Alright!!! dont go there folks, they are fast talking, b. s.'s.

THERE ARE DEALERS THAT WILL ALTER LOAN DOCS AND ALTER INVOICES!

AUTHOR: Karl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 19, 2008

It was EXPOSED on 9News in Denver, Colorado! Go to www.9news.com and type in ORNELAS and look at all the 'Related' links to the story. Don Massey Pontiac, Buick, GMC was exposed for these kinds of tactics! Guess what? They no longer exist! THOUSANDS, and potentially MILLIONS of people all over the USA have 'Extended Warranties' in their deals THAT THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT!

Ever heard of 'Corporate Fraud'?? No! That could NEVER happen in America, could it!? The CEO's in America are all honest & ethical, aren't they?

Contact the Bank, get ALL the documents from THEM! Your documents could be entirely different, even though the monthly payment is what the Bank is agreeing to!! My guess is that 75% of the people in the car business at the MANAGEMENT LEVEL are corrupt! It could even be higher! I'm referring to Toyota, by the way!

As far as Toyota's Top Corporate people, I'd say this (and this is only MY opinion)- EVERY ONE OF THEM IS CORRUPT!! Guess what? Simply go to the Dave Maus Toyota Report on this page and read the Rebuttal entitled- URGENT UPDATE FOR ALL AMERICANS and start Googling, for proof!!

Good Luck with the Lawsuit.

AUTHOR: Tim D - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, February 09, 2008

Well good luck with the lawsuit, lakeland toyota has had a dispute resolution agreement which is clearly signed and given to you during the process. I've bought several cars from there -- and not had a bad experience. The dispute resolution says in bold underlined letters (I have a copy of mine here) that clearly states that you waive the right to a trial by jury or otherwise, just like you do on nearly everything you purchase. At least theirs is clearly headed and doesnt hide what it means. It's about a page and a half, but clearly right above where you sign it states that you waive all rights to a trial, and agree to mediation, and if that fails arbitration.

Also, I always request copies of my purchases after the deal is completed, and never once have I found anything falsified. Hey it could just be me -- but considering I grew up around the car business (my dad died, he was a general manager for chevrolet for a long time) and have been around every type of dealership you can imagine (corporate, small, family owned, private lots) -- their all trying to earn a living just like you. Believe it or not, the car business is not what it used to be, (in the 80's through late 90's you could really riiiip someone off). If you get a bad deal, it sounds like you didnt do your homework. There are so many places to assist in your purchase (KBB, NADA, Edmunds, just to name a few) that it only seems to me you didnt do your homework.

The only time a fast sales person "works" is when you buy into it. Did you know that car dealerships on average only close 10% of business -- the best I've ever seen was 20-30% in the hay days of the car business. So again, do your homework.

Also, honestly how do you not know a car does not have cruise control, seems to me it just takes a glance at the steering wheel, and regardless of what "beaters" you've bought -- there are many manufactures out there who are producing BRAND NEW CARS that don't come with cruise control (a quick search of toyota's website says that the 2008 corolla CE doesnt come with cruise control -- imagine that! And it cost 15-16K! Do your research!

This Is What You Do

AUTHOR: Karl - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 31, 2007

This is what you do: Contact the Bank that Financed your car and tell them that you want COPIES of your TRANSACTION! The actual INVOICE may have been altered and submitted to the Bank showing that your car DOES HAVE CRUISE CONTROL. If this is the case, then the INVOICE was FALSIFIED and you can sue the Dealership and you WILL WIN. Also, alert all your local News Stations and 9 News in Denver if the INVOICE was altered.

Also look at your CREDIT APPLICATION and see if your INCOME, YEARS ON THE JOB, TITLE AT WORK, & SIGNATURE match up with what YOU wrote. If your LOAN PAPERWORK was altered then you can sue and you WILL WIN!! But also EXPOSE it to the News Stations so they can help others like you.

Make sure to send everything to : 9 News 500 Speer Blvd. Denver, Co 80203 Attn: Deborah Sherman. Go to www.9news.com and type in ORNELAS and search the story and read it and WATCH the video. Good luck! If they lied to you, then they might have lied to the Bank also. The Bank must give you copies. If they refuse, call a Lawyer and the News Stations too!

Fast Talking Salesman Or A Very Unskilled Buyer???

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, July 07, 2007

Dell,

Lets take a look at a few things you said. "Next thing I know...", were you actually there at the dealership? Why didn't "you know"? You said you "weren't given a chance to think it over". Why do you need to be "given" a chance? Its up to YOU to take the time to think things over! The cruise control...did you even bother to check out the car?

Whats wrong here, Dell?

All thru your posting you completely ignore your responsibility in this matter. Its all the dealer's fault, right?

Make no mistake about it, the car business is loaded with pond scum, slime balls and sleeze. They have one goal, to TAKE YOUR MONEY with the front of selling cars. This doesn't mean everybody in the business is dishonest, quite a few are. We need to be savvy buyers...to learn what we are doing...to be able to spot the scemes and scams...to be willing to walk out when we are being set up for a scam. You will no doubt be buying more cars in your life. Now is the time to learn how.

Be well!
