After filling out a survey for Sears I was notified that I was eligable for a free gift.

The free gift I chose was  pair of sunglasses. I only had to pay shipping. This whole time I was led to believe that all of this was from the Sears website.

A few days ago (three weeks later) the company withdrew $95 from my bank account. When I called them they informed me that I was to be billed that amount every month.

Since then my bank has changed my credit card number, but I'm out out $95 dollars and am an unemployed vet. I could have got these at Wal-Mart for around $15. I used to be in the optical business so I know the markup on these.

These types of marketing practices are misleading at best. I saw nothing about a 14 day trail period. I would only do this to somebody if I wanted to rip them off.
