On or about 11/9/18, Lightspeed LLC aka Global Test Media aka Global Test Market aka Global  research Group placed an ad for a focus group that was to convene in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio on November 13 and 14, 2018 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. The Craigslist ad included a link to a "Pre-Survey" to qualify candidates for participation. Registration on ,globaltestmarket.com was required in order to access the pre-survey. The Pre-Survey button on the website directed to a survey regarding grocery-shopping habits the had nothing to do with qualifying for the focus group that was to pay $215 including parking reimbursement. In addition to being locked out from qualifying for the focus group, the registration and completion of the initial survey resulted in an onslaught of e'mails offering surveys, tantamount to a spam attack. Several e'mails via the Craigslist relay by way of the Craigslist ad's "Reply" button, and completion of the Contact form on ,globaltestmarket.com (while logged in), went unacknowledged and unanswered. This company's Craigslist ad for the focus group was clearly bogus, and nothing more than a ruse to harvest information for spamming and phishing purposes.
