Fortunately I've only lost $300 in a month of buying on LC. The prices are great and the on air talent could convince you that the pigs ear is actually a  silk purse  and make it seem believable. I purchased about 10 rings and was saving them for special occasions. I only wore a couple for a few days over the month. However sadly, every time I actually put a ring on which I purchased, the stone fell out within just a couple days, making the worthless jewelry even more useless.

Since most of the time, you have to make a quick purchase for on air specials or the $1 rising auctions you have to depend on what the is written or told by talent. Yes they do have a return policy, but it seems to be return the item and they do not replace it because they will tell you that there is no more in stock, even though you can find the same piece of jewelry still advertised on their web site. They have a 30 day return policy..but that's it..you return the jewelry, they keep it and do not give your money back.some return policy?

Also I have discovered that their hand crafted jewelry is not crafted by their own jewelry experts like they like to advertise, but most come with the MADE IN CHINA tag, made very cheaply, most likely in a sweat shop by children or indentured employees. I am going to take a couple of the items I purchased to have their checked for their authenticity.

I have sincere doubts these pieces are not what they are purported to be, such as platinum over sterling silver. Even their Manufactures Suggested Retail Price is outrageously ridiculous. The rings I purchased for approximately $35 each were suggested to be worth 10 times that much. They actually posts those MSRP with each item they sell and tell you, that you are getting the pieces at 90-97% off full retail. Bottom line, you get what you pay for, or less. With a no return policy for any item under $200, your never going to see your money back or your jewelry back if you send it back to them. I can find equally the same jewelry at WallyMart for about the same price and both sellers buy from China..almost exclusively. At least you can return the items in the local stores if you are not happy and you know what you are buying when you are buying so no surprises that the ring feels chinzy, light weight, thin bands, rough stones, broken stones or painted on colors in their rare opals.

I have to say that the poor employees at LC do not fair much better. Its a boiler room environment and I am sure they get hit with lots of unhappy buyers. The Glass Door gives LC a very poor rating.

For example I bought 4 eternity rings, wasting hours of my time trying to bid and win on the $1 raising auctions..and of the 4 of these rings I purchased, I sent one back because the stone fell out,  another one which lost a stone, one remains here until I know they will exchange it ( see whether I get a refund or the ring returned..so far neither) and one I have never worn and the other I have worn for about a week with no damage so far. ** buyers get caught up in the $1 rising auctions and bid the price triple what you can purchase for on other parts of their sites. I see  redundant common names who seem to be always on the channel bidding for hours at a time..is it Ebay buyers or store employees driving bids up?

I did receive a couple decent items, stretch bracelets made out of various gemstones, ( if real) look nice. BUT I have not worn any to know if these too will break easily. Also from China.

The worse part, was I purchased for my very ill, 70 yr old sister, an opal ring for her October birthday. They did not send me what I purchased and when I called up to talk to customer service, he described the ring that they sent and said that was the ring on my Order Record..and the item numbers matched. However, he allowed me to email him a photo of what I had on my computer along with a photo held up in front of the computer screen to show the ring I received and that it did not match to what I was supposed to receive.

He could not see this until I sent him email with the attachments. That is really a bait and switch. The ring I paid for and received were not of the same quality..the one I received with the phoney item number was significantly less than the price of the one I purchased. In this case, I bought it directly off of their web site for purchase and not through the bidding format. The ring I received was advertised as $19 and the one I purchased was $29 plus shipping. Easy math tells you that is a 30% extra profit for them.

The employee was very apologetic and offered a return..but I told him how unhappy I was only a month into buying from LC and that I have no intentions of purchasing anything else. I decided not to return the ring, because I will lose my money as well as the ring and my patience. I will go out and buy my sister a ring and keep this piece of junk as a reminder not to waste my money on this format.

I just hope others get a chance to read this before spending their hard earned money on faked and poor quality worthless junk I received. I just wish I could include a couple photos..you would easily see what I am talking about.

Some of their pieces go for thousands of dollars..Athough I would never buy a $6000 piece of jewelry off the LC's live show....but when they feature such an item..they always find a buyer for the piece. I would just hate to realize that the quality of the items they purport is nothing close to what they send out, especially when you are talking about that amount. Also buyer beware, many of the pieces I saw on LC are being resold on Ebay and Craigslist for an even more inflated price because the LC buyers believe in their MSRP listed with the items on the LC.

This company needs a class action suit and needs to be shut down.

Just my opinion.

I had a ver different experience

It sounds like you had a very bad experience with Liquidation Channel. I have not experienced anything of the sort with them. I have bought so many rings from them and have only had a problem twice. In both cases, they promptly, and politely, refunded my money with no questions asked. If you look at any retail company manufacturers suggested retal pricing, it's always sky high, and a price that no one would ever pay. That's common with every single retail company, so that should be no surprise to you when it shows the high amount you are saving on their specific product. And yes, many of their pieces are platinum over 925 Sterling silver. This is a very common practice in the jewelry industry now. Their gemstones are good quality for the price and I'm quite sure, that many of the more specialized gem types like moldavite, Indian ocean apatite and ethiopian welo Opal, to name a few, would not be found at your local Walmart around the corner. I compare prices, and I have yet to find a better price on gemstone rings. Try finding these rings at these prices on SHOP HQ, JTV, QVC or HSN, you never will and they are the same quality as those others.
