so I will admit going into this company at first I was almost convinced. They are very vague about what they do. There's 3 rounds of interviews. The first one is from some dude named CJ Scruggs. During the second interview I came in and there's a group of young people in suits looking like they are having fun. At first I was like okay the atmosphere here is really upbeat and energetic. Little did I know what I was in for.

Apparently I was there to go one sales "test runs" with one of them. I was thinking okay this may not be so bad, At the time I assumed this company had clients and scheduled actual meetings to do these runs. I did not know that it would be door to door cold calling. you basically go in rain, shine or snow. it made it worse that it happened to be 100 degrees during the day I was doing the run. It's all commission and you are supposed to work from 2-8 Monday through Saturday.

My "shadow" was explaining all of this to me. If you don't feel like its right in your gut, do not take it! And I felt bad about it from the get go. I happened to get hired on the spot that day. I told them I accepted just to say so and deep down I felt like it was wrong. Did I really want go door to door selling this scheme. My shadow told me that it was worth it and called himself an "account manager" when he really isn't doing much but going door to door with that crap.

That night I gave him a call and told him that I respectfully declined. He then tried to sell me the job by saying "this job is for people that are risk takers. You have to have initiative to go out and do it. You want a comfy office job where you have a salary? That's fine but during the interview I saw something in you that lets me know you are an ambitious person."

I wanted to laugh so hard! Hpthat reverse psychology won't work on me but it's just stuff like that that makes this company very shady. I know what I am and what I'm capable of and I'm not going to allow myself to succumb to a pyramid scheme like that. yes I'll take a job where I'm able to utilize my skills in some worthy! Do not waste your time with this!
