On November 2010, we were reached by Liz Morgan (818) 466-2214 saying that they were referred by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. According to Liz, the Chamber have them our information. Liz said that they were trying to reach only a few spas in the Long Beach Area and the magazines will be distribute on Fresh and Easy supermarkets (our ad was supposed to come out for the February Edition, which LWT Magazine send us a copy of, yet none of the Fresh and Easy carry or heard of the magazine). They tried to call us and get more money out of us by offering their magazine to be distributed by Whole Foods. LWT magazine has told us that they will be also doing a TV commercial (that would be broadcast in 9 different cable channels that for 3 months will be feauture from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, including CNN and ABC. free of charge).
A gentelman by the name of Steve Davis is the Regional Sales Director and he is the one that came in to explained the contract and go over the 'deal'.
We signed a contract with them, in which we agreed that we will monthly pay the dues but today (2/10/11), we found out that they used our check tracking number and they made a check (which was not authorized by us at all). The payment due was for $325.00 and they made a check for $369.00 and on the authorized signature they put "This draft is authorized by your costumer. No signature required". We were not aware of this, the check looks like a real check (tracking number at the bottom included).
THIS IS A MAJOR SCAM!!! BEWARE!!!!!

I am filing a DA Complaint about them

AUTHOR: LSR Legal Services - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 26, 2012

Hi there I am filing a DA complaint about them and the form asks if I know of other victims.  I have directed them to this site but if you would like to provide your name and number to me so I can provide it to the authorities you can email me at LSRBRLO@yahoo.com.  I am especially interested because I dealt with the same man who told me the EXACT same thing about the TV commercials.
