We are disappointed that the buyer decided to post his concerns, however, we respect his right to do so.

We also apologize if, for some reason, he had the impression that we guarantee email address. 
However, we do not now nor have we ever guaranteed email addresses. 

In fact, the Terms of Service that the buyer agreed to contained a link to a special report "What You Must Know Before You Buy A Marketing List."  There are also disclosures that were accepted at the point of purchase.  We do not show that the buy accessed this report before he purchased his list.

The bottom line is that there is no technology available to validate email addresses.  If there were,
someone would be rich.   This is why we do not guarantee email.

There are some list providers who claim to sell Opt-In lists.  We don't sell Opt-In lists because no one can sell them.  Opt-in is not transferable.  Period. 

InfoUSA will email your marketing message to their opt-in list but you never get the email list and theirs is a premium service. 

We have written extensively on our blog at www.bizgrowthproblog.com about the challenges of email marketing.  But even with those challenges and a low response rate, how many sales would someone  need to recover the purchase price of the list?  Depending upon the business, probably not many.

We validate US Postal addresses only against the National Change Of Address database provided by the US Postal Service.  We only sell marketing contact information for which there is a valid US Postal address. If we have an email address, we include it but we do not guarantee it.

Given the economic challenges of the past few years, there has been significant volatility in the reliability of marketing contact information.  In fact, the loan officer business has been one of the most severely affected professions along with auto dealers.

We took the complaint of this buyer very seriously.  He does not mention that he called and was very abusive to our customer service representative and would not allow her to offer assistance.  He also does not mention that we issued him a full refund.

Subsequent to his complaint, we reviewed our loan officer database and decided that the difficulty in obtaining updated information from this ravaged industry made our current list unreliable.  Therefore, we have voluntarily decided to suspend sales of our loan officer database.
