Most likely, Lobos Management will not give you your security deposit back. This happened to me. My advice to you is, don't get angry... get even. Take them to court. Its not as bad as you think. filing paperwork will take you an hour or two. preparing your arguments will take you another two or three hours. The courtroom itself should be a 15 minute thing. Go to Pittsburgh Small Claims court:

4764 Liberty Avenue

Bloomfield, PA 15224

I won my case against them. On your hearing day, don't be emotional in the courtroom and be courteous. Your opponent (Lori Sobol) will speak with a big lisp and will look overfed and underworked (she's fat: that was a confidence boost for me in itself). She WILL exaggerate/lie. Make sure you counter her. Keep a track of your paperwork and phone records and other communication. Make a good impression on the judge. Appear civilized. Don't exaggerate. Present your most important arguments.

You will also get your filling fee of about $75 refunded if you win. If Lobos Management doesn't pay the court judgement (Lori Sobol WILL hang up on you), certify the judgement and get a lien on their assets. Once they know you're serious, you will get your check.

If you don't want to go through the above hassle, DON'T PAY LAST MONTHS RENT! By the time they get around to evicting you, you'll be gone. And what are they going to sue you for in court?

It will be an educational experience for you all. I was a student and dealing with slumlords like Lori Sobol was an eye opening experience. Its funny how the Sobol family rips off people and then donates to charity organizations in Pittsburgh to appear respectable.

I am currently having a similar if not the same problem with Lobos, and I was wondering what your situation was. did you not give then 60-90 days notice? I did not know and my notice was 50 days? I would like some advice and recommendations.
