I tried localnet for one day, and found that it was not what I was looking for, and it was very slow. When I signed up by phone, I was told I had 30 days to cancel this account if I felt dissatisfied, and to call back this smae phone number. I did, and was told I can't cancel over the phone, and was given a link to use to cancel. I put in all the information that was requested, and received an e-mail back, that this website cannot cancel the account, and that I needed to go to another link, which I did. By this time a reprentative from my crdit card company called, who I had notified earlier because of a $25.95 charge from localnet, that should not have been charged. We arranged a conference call with localnet, and it was explained to me that the contract can't be cancelled until one month and two days from my first request. Then I was told that the only way I could cancel is through another localnet website link, which I did again. All in all, this company is a big ripoff, so if your smart, stay away, and tell others to do the same. I have closed my credit card account and opened a new one. This way, localnet can't summit a charge every month. They send you in circles to make it almost impossible to cancel. Folks, please be careful about giving your credit card number out over the phone, and aske to be billed every month by paper. If they refuse, stay away.
