MABS NO GOOD

The first time I came across MABS I thought what a GREAT ideal!

Since I had been doing real estate mortgages and wanted to work more
independiately I thought I would give them a call.

I had spoken to a gentleman called Russ. Very pleasent gone through the spill of the company. Sounds good. I was really interested. I understood a lot since
being in that type of enivormnt already it was understandble.

I just could not understand ablut why the low cost on advertisting but Russ stated it was all supplied. Cool!

I signed up for my bank withdraw's and paid my $299.99 what that the amount? I was so excited I started doing my verble pitches here and there about my web site to every one.

Then I ask Russ why my web site was not coming up to the front as he
had promised. He replied because I did not purchase the advertising cost.

What the advertisting cost! You did not mention about advertising cost! You said everything is included! He said no the costs are $2,000, $5,000 ......

Well, I never would of agreed to this then. So then Russ starts pressuring me to buy the advertising. I explainned I do not have the money. He would actual yell at me to purcahse the adversiting. He scream so loud that if I pulled the reciever away from the phone and I would still here him shout.

I then started to talk to his Supervisor Rich. Well, Rich was not any better. Rich could yell, scream and shout just as lound as Russ. I could not say who got the award there.

Finally after hanging up on Rich and then talking to his boss I was able to get my online stopped. However, I never reciecevd any of my $299.00 back.

I feel I should get all the money I paid into for online services and my $299.00.

My suggestion is to keep away from this company as from as possible.
They are crooked in their financianing. I played the game of pertaining of being another person from another phone number and the loan officer was trying to move my home loan (1st at 6% and 2nd at 7.5% wn interest) into a (30 year adj rate at 9%). That was just 6 months ago. He told me I could always refinance it. I replied ....... NO! With the cost of refinanciing why waste my money?????

REPORT THEM FOR UNSCRUPULOUS AND ILLEGAL PRACTICES

AUTHOR: Concerned Consumer - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 09, 2009

REPORT THEM to Better Business Bureau, Arizona Attorney General, and FTC. Flood MABS with copies of these letters.
Also known as MABS or Low Rate Approvals. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. UNSCRUPULOUS--QUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY.

They are obligated by Arizona State Law to notify a customer that they are allowed 3 day cooling off period to cancel any contract with telephone solicitors. Within the 3 days, you must send a certified letter to them to cancel. They will ignore the letter, just have the proof that it was sent. If you send other copies, they will open them and possibly call, but do not expect them to listen or respond favorably.
My experience: After months of disputing this, I will now name names and this report will remain on here until this is resolved.  I have been burned by this company.  I was looking for a viable on line business.  I got an Unsolicited call (even though I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST).  I wanted to set up the website and try out the process to see if this is the type of business I wanted to do. I listened to their proposal.  It sounded viable at the time.  But they later proved this wrong.  They would not tell me much about what had to be done. That was my first clue. I did not listen to my intuition (uncomfortable). But I was only risking $200 at that point. After paying an up front fee for them to set up the "website", I asked if there would be any more charges, except for the monthly website fee? They assured me that was "all I would need to make a lot of money." Nothing further would be needed. They would do all of the work. I had planned to try this out and work on it gradually. I was not interested in risking a huge chunk of money if it was something that I would not enjoy doing. After many weeks and missed appointments to help set up the website, the only return calls I got were for an advertising package. They essentially said that the website was USELESS without the advertising package. It later turned out to be very high pressure sales techniques used. BEWARE OF MATTHEW PERROTTI, salesman. When you try to get a word in, they interrupt and treat you like the intrusive salesman that they are. They won't answer your questions about the process of the business or show me any business financials. It was just too much! Not the cooperative approach they promised. Big mistake, giving credit card info before final decision to join. When I got the contracts by e-mail and saw that they contained statements that did not match what they said on the phone and did not include other promises told on the phone. I e-mailed them with concerns. When they did no answer my questions, I asked them NOT TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD. I called the credit card and asked them to refuse the charge. They told me it already had been accepted. I sent the letters within the 3 days. The certified letter sent to SEAN MORIARITY, CEO, at his legally registered address (with Arizona Corporations) was returned with with copies to Matthew Perotti at thier office address.   I never got any response from him. I thought he might be concerned about his company's reputation. I did get a phone call from RICH PENUAL, VP OF MABS. During the conversation, I was personally insulted. Very disrespectful! This is how you treat potential colleagues? If I had been reassured, given a refund and they had gotten the initial website going and I was able to try out the business gradually as I had originally planned, and had seen some return on my $200 investment, possibly I may have reconsidered.  If they had concentrated on proving themselves as a company, instead of trying to hang on to their ill-begotten gains of my money, I may have bought a package later on. But their true colors were coming out as they did not treat me open and fairly. I did not respond to that as he agreed to cancel everything. HE DID NOT KEEP THIS PROMISE. When I looked it up, at that point, the website turned out to be only a link to the main site--nothing special. No prospective customers could even reach it. Googling my business name did not reach it. You pay so much per month to "rent" this link. Then there is the high pressure sales pitch to buy their Advertising program, costing thousands of dollars. After numerous refusals, I considered a lower price due to their promises. Hard to find much research in advance. This should have been a clue. Now there is some--see Ripoff Report. They neglect to tell you that the 3-day rule DOES apply to them under Arizona law. They are supposed to tell you that you have 30 days to cancel. Get proof of mailing, because they will not accept a certified letter. Will not return e-mails or phone calls after they get your credit card info. Your Credit card may initially honor your dispute, but after they respond, it goes back on. I the end, if they prove (recording) that you gave them credit card info, they can charge your card, even if they violated laws and did not deliver what they promised. [Even if the written contract (even if unsigned) does not match what they verbally promise by phone]. If you do decide to do it--Make your own recording because that part is not recorded on theirs. I have been fighting this over a year. I will report to Arizona Attorney General, FTC and beyond. They just want investors into their business. This is how they make the money by scamming people who want a legitimate home business.
DO NOT INVEST IN THIS COMPANY. UNSCRUPULOUS--NO INTEGRITY What I have learned through all of this---I SUGGEST TO EVERYONE THAT YOU GET A DEVICE TO RECORD WHAT ANY TELEPHONE SOLICITER SAYS BECAUSE THEY WILL ONLY RECORD YOU GIVING THEM CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. (of course, you probably have to disclose to them that you are recording it). BETTER YET, DO NOT AGREE TO ANY VERBAL CONTRACTS BY PHONE. TELL THEM TO SEND YOU A WRITTEN ONE AND ONLY AFTER SIGNING THAT (IF YOU WANT) GIVE THEM CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
I will be glad to add updated information to this post, current contacts and resolutions with this company. And, when I get a refund of my money, I may change my opinion of this company. Perhaps it is just the unguided behaviors of its employees. I have yet to hear from the CEO, even though my first letter was addressed to him with copies to Matthew Perotti.

Mortgage And Buying Solutions is NOT Professional!

AUTHOR: Vickie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 23, 2008

Sam,

Personally I do not care what you think of me. I always worked hard for what I earned and it was not handed to me on a golden plater.
If I am a bit sensative is because it's men like you that made me decide to raise my children by myself. I did do better without him or any other man; then to have one like you thinkng you are king of the mountain.

It's people like you that just happens to have a lucky steak that has the goods looks and maybe the a*s wide grin that makes me SICK! You may have a connection with someone that just happens to be rich or perhaps you were born into a wealthly family. That is why you can talk so good about MABS.

You are probably just like the employees that I spoken to during that time that was shouting and so rude. Who knows you could be one of the men that work there. Oh! yes, there is a Sam that is employeed there.

See just what I thought just another man that can talk the talk but becomes very angry when a women puts him in his place.

I am what I am and I am proud of it! I have accomplished alot of things in my life that not others have accomplished. I did it by myself. If it sounds like I am deffensive and negative so what! Why do you care? You are not my keeper or nor my maker. You do not have to worry about me. I do not need pity I just respect to be treated with a profession attitude.

What You Dish Out Will Come Back At You!

AUTHOR: Samuel - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 02, 2008

Vickie,

You said it perfectly, "What you dish out WILL come back at you." I could not agree with you more and by the tone of your comments, hmmm. Perhaps they simply responded to you in the same manner that you began the conversation. You seem to be just a bit sensative. But through your pitty party we have gotten off base. Just like you are entitled to share your negative opinion on a business I am entitled to STRONGLY disagree with you and share my possitive opinion on the same business. Again, whatever is so horrid in your life that is making you so deffensive and negative I truly hope it changes.

MABS - MORTGAGE AND BUYING SOLUTIONS

AUTHOR: Vickie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 28, 2008

Sam,

If you are that smart then you would have read that MABS lied to me, shouted, and acted immaturely. They are just like the rest of the Mortgage Companies if not worst. Lie, cheat, and steal from you.

I do not care if you are in the advertising business or not. MABS lied to me and to my husband. You do not know me and have no right to judge me or anyone ask that has a complaint about a company. I am been working since I was 13 and I am a hard worker. It's been 43 years now since my first job. I raised my children myself and I am proud of it!

MABS did not behave in a Professional manner and other people should know what type of company they are. So, I would suggest keeping your opinions to yourself. Stop putting yourself on a pedestal because at anytime that stool can fall and you will be just like the rest of us trying to make some money. What you dish out will come back your way.

POSTED: Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Point and fact is you have to work any business, it will not magically bring you money. Personally I don't care what either of you have to say.

MABS has been a blessing for me and I am greatful that I took advantage of the opportunity. And no, I have never been to any seminar. And no, I do not "work" for MABS, but nice try. I am a independent advertising rep only.

I don't know exactly what you two did wrong but I am still doing AWESOME with this. It is a buyers market right now in real estate and I am doing about two times better then the last time I posted here.

But I do wish you the best of luck in your future failures.

Never bite that hand that feeds you

AUTHOR: Rita - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, December 03, 2007

Vickie

I never once addressed you in my response. My response was addressed to Samuel.
And if you would have been able to follow my response (and it's clear
you weren't able to) it strengthened your case but there
is no hope for hiding your ignorance now.

It seems to me you have some reading comprehension trouble. It's
no small wonder that you find yourself here. Have you ever heard
of the saying... Never bite that hand that feeds you?

Next, in the 90's my home based business was giving birth to child, #2,
child #3 and child #4. Smoking was out of the question though it seems
you smoke something.

Now, as for it being private under my name. It's for stupid people
to wonder what I'm hiding but I'll answer your question anyway.

When I joined Ripoffreport (a very long time ago) I didn't intend
on having nut jobs setting their sights on tracking anything about me.
It's called self preservation and home protection. We teach children
the same thing... Don't give too much info for one's own safety. Is that
simple enough to understand Vickie?

Moreover, I don't work for Mortgage and Buying Solutions nor do I
know anyone personally that does.

By this report, it's clear to me how you could have misunderstood
what you would or would not be getting from Mortgage and Buying Solutions;
when it's clear that you don't even get what's going on here.

Rita,
or am I?

Based Out of Michigan/My ABC's

AUTHOR: Vickie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 11, 2007

Rita and Samuel;

If the only thing you can find wrong with my complaint is my spelling; then I should be grateful. Thank goodness it is not my grammar. However, I would double check you're spelling first before you correct others.

Not only did the Reps yelled at me, they yelled at my husband!

Rita and Samuel; didn't we meet in the middle of the 90's at a seminar in Southfield, Michigan? We where out having a smoke and you where explaining how you two had already begun a home based business similar to the one we where at. Rita you got me thinking when it said Private under your name. What are you hiding? You think Samuel and Rita would be proud to show that they are proud to be employees of MABS- Mortgage and Buying Solutions? Don't' you agree?

Calling the kettle black

AUTHOR: Rita - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 22, 2007

Samuel,

"intellegence" should read"intelligence"
"Developement" should read"Development"
"agressive" should read "aggressive"
"advertisiment" should read"advertisement"
"type-o's" should read "typos"
"though out" should read "throughout"
"with in" should read "within"

I think that your glass house just fell into a pile of shards;
left standing is the doghouse.

When one questions another's intellect/intelligence, it might be wise to first
question that of your own. Now, I have a question of my own for you...
Have they helped you to advertise in this same manner?

It appears that you're not much of a cheerleader for Mortgage and Buying Solutions
but I did get a good laugh out of the irony of it all.

In Response To Vickie Regarding MABS

AUTHOR: Samuel - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 20, 2007

Most importantly, when you are filing a complaint against a company that many, many people are going to view: CHECK FOR MISTAKES. There are so many spelling errors and type-o's in Vickie's complaint, that it really makes one wonder the intellegence level of the author.

I have been dealing with this company for about a year now. And I don't have one complaint. Perhaps Vickie should have listened to MABS's presentation and paid better attention to the conversation before she purchased. I was told several times through out my phone conversation that my main responsibility as the owner of the business is to market and advertise the great services that my website offers. All I have done is kept in close contact with the Business Developement Consultant that they provided me with and together we came up with some great advertising ideas. Best part is that he found the most agressive ways for me to advertise my business with in my budget. Which initially my budget was zero. But I upgraded that and keep upgrading my advertisiment and I have done well with this business.

Vickie, get rid of the victim for life mentality. I too have spoken with Rich at MABS and he is one of the most professional people I have come into contact with in a long time. So perhaps it was you that was doing the yelling, because you did not pay attention and got upset.

Mortgage and Buying Solutions is a GREAT opportunity! Don't let it pass you by, I am very glad that I did not.

Thank You,

In response to report # 271440 the claims made by Daniel/Vickie are a common example of someone who instead of choosing to market the business on their own and promote a legitimate opportunity to make money, just choose to complain about the cost of doing business. These are the very situations your service severely does a disservice too.

Upon reviewing this members account notes, this member claimed that she never initially agreed to the charges to get into business. I contacted member and reviewed the member's authorization of charges and also reviewed the fact the member did understand potential commissions would be paid on the basis of business generated through marketing a website.

It is a fact that information no matter how clearly presented or how thoroughly reviewed is subject to interpretation. When a client joins Mortgage and Buying Solutions, it is made very clear a client represents their services as Independent Advertising Associates. We offer marketing packages that are reflective of the same type of marketing that we as a company use as well as most businesses do. Our marketing packages are designed to offer long term cost effective advertising to our members, to allow their internet services to be findable on the internet.

Our marketing packages are an optional part of the services we provide. This is stated in our written materials mailed out to each member. Our business start up kits provides many other forms of marketing methods that members can use to market their business on their own.

If a member needs assistance it is available from 9am- 6pm Monday - Friday, if prior arrangements are made staff can be available on weekends to provide assistance to members as needed. Our company has a one year refund policy which we honor 100%, we also pay all referrals generated 100%, Mortgage and Buying Solutions offers a legitimate opportunity for people to earn money through marketing and promoting real services that are at a great demand in this country now and for years to come.

The bottom line is we have a clear example of a client that does not accept responsibility for their own actions or lack of actions. We fulfilled on building a website for this client, and then followed up by offering our support services to this client. In this case this client made no attempt to put any effort into this business.

For anyone in business, there is absolutely no way you can succeed if you expect someone else to do absolutely everything. This is a typical scenario of a person who expects everything for doing nothing. We as a company can only do so much to provide the opportunity and the support and services we say we will provide. We will always guarantee to provide the very best products services and support we can. It has to be a two way street for any business to work.

Takes Your Money and Then Socks it to YOU!

When I signed up to be part of this team they needed $299.00.
When included everything from screen design, ..... to advertising.
After I joined and they started to deduct my monthly fees from my bank; I could not stop my bank or them to stop withdrawning from my account.

I wanted to cancel immediately after I found out that the sales rep Russ had giving me false information about the advertising. Russ explained that it would not cost me not one penny to join. When in the beginning he said that all advertising would be handle by MABS.

When I wanted to cancel Russ insisted that I try investing $5,000, $7,000 or more for advertising. He keep insisting that I did have the money. How does he know what I have? He started to scream, shout to the point I could not bare the thought of talking to him. My husband
even talked to Russ and Russ yelled, and shouted at my husband too!

My husband then told me to speak to his supervisor. Which I did and I recieved the same type of treatment. I insisted I wanted my money back and he started to yell and shout.

Rich fought me all the way as to saying he has the conversation on tapes, he has the conversation on tapes between Russ and I. I replied GREAT! Go listen to them and see how your sales rep treated me. Then Rich comes back and could only say "You signed the agreement".

Yell, I might of signed the agreement that came 2 days after MABS already deducted my $299.00 plus first month online fees from from checking account. What kind of right business would do that? Withdrawing from my account without my written consent. It's that illegal? When it came down to it Rich just yelled, shouted and screamed at me too! I was not getting no where.

So I moved up the ladder and talked to the CEO. Explained everything all over. Even though he listened to the tape that Russ and Rich yelled, shouted and screamed at me and the fact that advertising was stated to be included he would not return all my money. The CEO agreed to stop withdrawing the monthly online cost. However, since I was not with the team for a year (that did not make a dime). He could not give my $299 money back.

I explained to the CEO that I would be writting to RIP-OFF and he did not care. I believe this CEO was on a very popular woman's afternoon talk show just recently. I wonder if I wrote to the talk show hostess
I wonder how she would feel about a company like this?

I wonder if that is their method of not returning the money to the to-be team members. MABS will yell, scream and shout so loud to the to-be team member, the member (RUN) away from them. Well, I will not walk away! I am yelling, screaming and shouting now!

The $299.00 plus the 3 months of online fees is not much, but what about the people that invest $5,000 and $7,000. dollars. I have been burnt a few times. I want everyone to know that this company can not be trusted. You trust this crooks and then they make your life miserable.

Look I could not get them to stop withdrawning from my bank account.
I had to close my account so they could not withdraw anymore.

I want my $299.00 start up cost plus any online fees that have been paid NOW!
