Magellan Does not support Safari 12.1 for lifetime updates wants me to instal Google Chrome

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Purchased RV GPS with lifetime updates. attempted to update and got message saying my Safari browser is not supported either use an earlier version or download Google Chrome.
Contacted Magellan support, told them I did not want any google programs on my computer. Magellan sent me an email which told me to load Google Chrome or use older Safari. Wrote back to them but received no reply.

The problem is not with me. I gave in and downloaded Google Chrome as Magellan asked. Installed the Browser plugin as requested and it still did not work. My original comments stand. Beware if you buy a Magellan GPS.

You say that they provide lifetime updates to the GPS. It does not sound like they are stopping their lifetime updates, it just sounds like they are now only providing them a way you refuse to use. That is an issue with you not the company.
Unless the lifetime update agreement states that they will also provide lifetime support for Safari and there is nothing in the agreement that gives them the right to change this method of delivery and/or use, there is really no valid complaint on your part.
