Magical Dream Escapes I told sales person that myself and grandchild would like the Orlando vacation she presented. However, she failed to inform me that in order to use the vacation package there had to be two (2) people over 50 going on the trip. She said up to 4 people: 1 adult and 3 kids or 2 adults, 2 kids, etc. at no time did she refer to 2 adults earning over $50,000 income in the household going on the trip. Internet Address Given - Does Not Exist!!! Orlando Florida

I was contacte by phone and offered vacation package for $398 and decline.
Two weeks later lady called and discounted the package to $198. I infomred her that I would go to Orlando with grandson and no one else in our group.
At no time did she state there had to be two adults in group of 4 with income over $50,00. This would have ended the conversation because I want to take a 9 year old to Orlando for a vacation. We would not qualify to use the package she was selling and she knew it. She said it could be 2 adults and 2 kids on vacation or 1 adult and 3 kids. Now we know her sales statements were not correct because the package requires 2 adults over 50 and having income over $50,000 each.
This sales representative gave me a webpage which does not work: www.magicaldreamescapes.com. Tried it and did not work. Call her phone number in Florida: 954-587-0595 and requested my vacation package be chancelled and a full refund issued immediately. She said she could not do that because my ckeck was already deposited into the bank. I informed her that Maryland law - you can cancell within 48 hours. She stated that she was aware of the law. Call my bank and make stop payment on check. This costs $30 and my bank is closed and not open late today! What a delimina.
I understand that other people have been sold on this vacation package and not all the fact required for the hotel costs are disclosed. Many who buy package - cannot use it if there aren't 2 people over 50 in household and both making over $50,000! Those of us not in that category and single are out of luck with this vacation package.

Consumers beware:
Because of this site I did receive a refund check a few days ago. At no time did anyone contact me or leave a call back number from Magical Escapes. Look at the date of my complaint.
I filed the complaint after I could not find the web page I was given by the sales person. Upon searching Magical Escapes on the WEB, I found a consumer complaint and immediately realized that it was fraud, etc. This is the second complaint against Magical Dream Escapes on this site; therefore, anyone reseaching Magical Dream Escapes has this information first hand and can move forward with knowledge - beware - before buying.

Unfounded complaint that has been resolved

I just want anyone who uses this website to know that we mailed Barbara a refund check once we were sure that she didn't put a stop pay on her check. She has cashed the refund check and has not answered any of our calls. I assume that she has caller id and is intentionally not answering. This issue was resolved before she made her complaint on this site. I find it offensive and unfair that someone can come to this site and say anything they want without it being investigated first. I understand that there are alot of "rip-off" companies out there and I'm sure that this site has helped alot of consumers. However, as in this case, the complaint was unfounded and never once were we contacted by anyone from this website.

Please review the lady's report from New Mexico - this supports my comments concerning this company. It is a rip off and if you spend $198 or $399 - you are just throwing your money out the window.

Barbara's statement in false !!
AUTHOR: Magical Dream Escapes - (U.S.A.)

The statement that Barbara submitted is false. She was offered the vacation package at a discount price of $198.00 and she purchased it. When she called to cancel the purchase, her check that she authorized on audio tape had already been deposited and there was no way to stop it at that time. She was advised that, if she wanted to, she could put a stop payment on it. She didn't want to do that because of the cost, which we understood. We told her that once we knew that her check had cleared we would send her a refund check for the total amount.
She purchased the package on 02-18-08 and called us on 02-19-08. We cannot issue a refund check until we are sure that her check is good. She could stop payment on it and we would be out $198.00. We never refused to give her a refund. As far as the qualifications to travel on the Orlando vacation, she is mistaken. She can travel to Orlando as a single female with her grandson. She never gave us a reason why she wanted the refund, she just insited that she get a refund, which we agreed to. Had she told us her concerns we would have explained to her that she was qualified.
She stated that our website doesn't work and that is a false statement also.
It is a valid website, she must have typed it in wrong. We don't understand why she posted her complaint on the same day she contacted us. We don't know where she could have gotten the information that she couldn't use the vacation. She stated the website didn't work so she obviously didn't read it there and her package, which takes 10 to 14 business to receive, would have the qualifications and she would have seen that she qualified to travel. We always qualify our customers up front.
