BEWARE MAGIC JACK IS SAYING YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A COMPUTER FOR THEIR NEW MAGIC JACK PLUS AND IT'S NOT TRUE. YOU ARE JUST PLUGGING IT INTO A ROUTER. THAT MEANS YOU STILL NEED A COMPUTER.

I AM ALSO FILING A REPORT WITH THE FTC AND THE BBB.

I am not that familiar with the newer model but I must disagree with your complaint. If the product says you use a router, that does not mean you need a computer. Your router can hook directy to your internet source or modem. I have NetTalk which is kind of similar. It is hooked up to my router. My computer is hooked up to tokhe router also, which means the device is completelt separate.
