Manchester Who's Who Charges Immediately, But Doesn't Ship Entire Pkg., No one answers phones, or no call backs, until you get tough! ripoff New York New York

I was contacted by the Manchester Who's Who directory,
explaining how extrodinary their service is, and the honor it is to be listed with their directory. I was informed of the cost $689.00 + s/h. I was told I would receive $300.00 off on jewelry thru their member on-line. The jewelry price is outrageous!
I was told I would receive two free airline tickets for 35 domestic cities, with a 3 night minimum stay. Wrong!
Try a 4-8 night minimum stay. And the hotel rates are outrageous! I can get better airline/hotel pkgs. thru on-line travel sites.

I then was charged $189.00 for the membership book and CD Rom, within 30 days of my first charge. It has been nearly a year and I have never received the book or CD Rom. But they have had my money for nearly a year.

I have called their phone contact, but you can't get anyone, only their voice messages. Even if you leave a nice message, no one calls back. Today, I left three messages to two voice mails not one call back. I finally got thru and stated my complaint.
I had the pleasure of hearing the books have been delayed
for shipping, but I'll receive it soon.

I asked for a refund of $189.00, since I never received the completed items. I now have to wait for an email, complete it, and respond back for my credit. As if this is what I now want to spend my time doing. They can charge my card right away, but not refund without steps to be taken by me.

Do Not purchase into Manchester Who's Who directory, they are fraudulent! They are an extreme high-pressure sales gimmic, that delivers this special package to your home, for the price of $708.95, with vouchers that are a complete rip-off!! Then you don't receive the book or CD Rom. Customer Service....there is NONE!

My first time being ripped off, and hopefully my last!
