I got a letter from Money & More before any account even went to collections.  When I got the letter I called & paid it.  They even gave me a confirmation number.  Then I got the letter from Marauder telling me it had gone to collections and that I need to pay immediately.  I offered them the confirmation #.  They gave me multiple excuses. 1st they said that Money & More just gives anyone confirmation numbers who asks for one.  2nd was that Money & More is in breach of contract and that there was a lawsuit pending because they aren't getting the money from them.  3rd they told me that I have to go to my bank and request a copy of my bank statement and then send it to them with the name, date, amount, and everything highlighted.  I am not about to give a stranger my entire bank statement.  Not only that but I had since changed banks and had to pay $10 for the statement and for their time to look it up (by the hour).  And I am not going to get reimbursed just because their company doesn't want to accept the confirmation#.  Well I turned the info over to my lawyer.  I don't think there is a class action suit in this state yet, but there should be.  Wheatever you do, don't talk to them.  I would consult a lawyer first.

Stacey, another idea!

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 10, 2010

Stacey,

There is something else you can do here that your lawyer "cannot" do for you.

Publicly humiliate this fool!

That's right. Only creditors and debt collectors are bound by the FDCPA. You can go public with what a loser this fool is. Go to an investigative news channel and have him exposed for fraud on the 6 o'clock news!

Run as many internet ads and posts as you can with every bit of info you have on him.

And, if you can prove he actually has assets he is hiding in his girlfriends name, you can expose that too and even go after her.

I know that here in Florida it is illegal to hide assets to dodge the court process.

And, if she is in any way involved in the business, just name her in a lawsuit and go after her.

Also, there is an IRS form you should look into.

It will get him audited and possibly criminally investigated if you check the little box that asks you "do you consider this taxpayer dangerous".

In any case be sure to keep your judgement current and monitor his assets, because I can guarantee that someday his girlfriend will dump him and those assets will be back in his name.

There is nothing stopping you from hounding this fool all day long every day for your money. I would make his life so miserable that he would pay me just to get rid of me from his life. You have to be VERY agressive when dealing with fools like this. Don't rely on that lawyer for everything as there are many things he cannot or will not do that really need to be done.

Good luck.

But as I stated I have an Attorney and we fought this stupid lawsuit through an appeal process - this IDIOT Ryon Gambill has so many judgements against him I would be lucky if I got a penny

Look him up - his assets are all in his girlfriend's name.

Stacey,

Good job taking the initiative to sue those lowlife, and winning! I suggest you put them in collections right away!!

File liens on everything they own, and/or just move for a garnishment order to take the money from their bank account.

Stay on them!!

I consulted a lawyer after Marauder called me - The person threatened to have have me arrested, loss of job, garnishment of wages, even to have my parent's arrested!

I sued them and WON! Yet I my Attorney nor I have collected a DIME - go to www.budhibbs.com and read about these losers!
