Max Savings Club My Max Saving Club is a rip off as they do not make it clear it is actually 2 clubs they charge 2 prices for. Internet

I enrolled in this club and realized about 5 days later after receiving the stipulations about "free gas" I did not care to be enrolled. I called and cancelled the account or so I thought. Today I noticed a charge on my credit card for $16.95. Angry I called the max savings club and demanded to know why. They informed me it was 2 different memberships and I only canceled one. I told them that was not explained to me and they informed me they had proof it was.  The membership numbers are the same on both accounts, the initial person selling the memberships to me at any time did not tell me I would be billed for $16.95 two times a month. Of course they would not refund my money. I guess they enjoy ripping off a 66 year old woman. Also think about it, if they do this to 100 people a month which I am sure is conservative especially with old people that is $ 1695.00 a month free money. Shame on these awful people.

maybe you should pay more attention

I have been a member for years. When I called in it said free gift basket for registering. So I called and was told about the trial offer. So naturally I called in as well. After getting everything described to me it sounded worth it. They do say $16.95 a month EACH which when I heard asked to make sure it was explained so I would understand.
I do not travel so I cancelled one but the other one I collect Walmart receipts and get $500 A month. If you didn't ask questions on what YOU didn't understand that is on you. They explained it clearly and any questions I had were answered. If you can't see the value or are too lazy to take advantage of it then that is your own fault and they deserve your money. Maybe instead of lookin for faults you should ask questions pay attention and you could save a lot of money.
