I contracted Maxwell Turner & Associates, after they called me to inform me that, a client who owed me lots of money was also being sued by other clients of theirs.(this was October 2009) They promised me that they already had a freeze on an account, and I could easily recover my money for me. They told me they needed a check for $1000+, to cover "legal fees", and once they received that, they'd have my money to me by Christmas.Unfortunately, I copied and faxed to them a check, in the amount of what they said I had to give them. They electronically removed that amount from my account that very same day, even though I was further instructed to overnight it...which I did. I never authorized them to go into my account...I never even signed a contract!So, I smelled a rat..(too late, again), and began calling them. All I get is passed around from person to person, and told the "legal team" would get back to me. I demanded copies of the paperwork that has gone out on our behalf, and was told they'd need "clearance" from the legal department to do so. Of course, I have received nothing.
I sent certified letters to Ian Maxwell, Jonathon Turner, Susie Tillman, and Samantha Cole. They have not signed off, and it has been three weeks. I have been scammed, and I see, on this site, I am not the only one. It is bad enough to be on the brink of going out of business, when a huge sum is owed us...but, now, the collection agency scammed us too!!! I need recourse. Who do I call to report this??(besides you guys) This is inter-state fraud, and banking fraud, at the very least, and there must be something I can do...Please help!
