I am self employed and needed to change my health insurance because my current insurance company raised my premium and deductibles. I meet with Luke Mitchell who when over the application and benefits with Mega Health Insurance. I asked questions in reference to everyday benefit. Asked what me copay would be $30.00. Asked about prescription, was told generic $4.00 and brand $ 50.00. Nothing he explained about this policy was true. I tried to call he to discuss the issue.
I never recieved a call from him. I called his supervisor and he said he would check into it, never recieved a call back. Call Mega Health Insurance spoke to a wonderful person. She said she would investigate the problem and get back to me. I left several messages, never recieved a call back. This policy doesn't cover well care visits, my prescription for brand was $ 270.00 way off from $ 50.00. I can go on and on. What ever you do, do not go with this company!!!

Mega is just like any other insurance company. They have a policy to sell. The policy has limits to it. Every company on the planet has a limit.
The brochure that you received from the agent as well as the certificate of insurance you received from the company would CLEARLY explain your coverage and limits.
Since it has been proven that the human mind retains less than 10% of what is said to them, it is also possible you misunderstood him.
Now let's say that he intentionally lied to you. Mega did not sell you the policy. An independent, 100% commission, contract agent did.
If you can find one company out there that pays everything, has 100% knowledgeable and honest employees, and always gets back to you then let me know.
Also, try calling Blue Cross and asking them to call you back. Good luck with that one.
