Purchased ticket from DC to NYC. Upon arrival bus driver tried to charge me an additional $150 for my bag. I asked him what other options are available and was told I could reschedule for next day. I called their "customer service", if thats what you call it. I spoke to Peter who was unhelpful, unprofessional, and ignorant. Repeated over and over that I just needed to purchase new ticket. They provided no credit for existing unused ticket. Asked to speak to manager and Peter hung up on me. Never use this service. Terrible crooked unreasonable inexcuseable rip off.

Its not unreasonable...

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

POSTED: Saturday, November 09, 2013

Its not unreasonable for them to charge you if you have a overly large piece of luggage. Given that there is normally limited storage on any vehicle, if you did not ask if you would be charged extra for a large piece of gear, how is it their fault? THEY could not know when you purchased your ticket that you would be bringing extra or heavy baggage. Them telling you that you have to pay more for it is NOT unreasonable.

Sounds to me that this post is just yet another post showing the American consumers lack of common sense. It also shows YOU to be a petty little gnat. WAA WAA they want more money!! Maybe this will be a lesson for you  in the future ASK if you can bring over sized gear with you and if there will be a cost. ANYONE reading your post is going to see the same thing I do. Youre just mad. Your upset because they didnt treat you like royalty and lick your bunghole and just let you do as you wanted. And they have the NERVE to charge you like they would ANYONE else. HOW DARE THEY!!!

See what I mean. It sounds kinda petty and stupid to post a negative response about them doing their job. Simply because they wanted to charge you more for your baggage. Youre the one who has to live with the world, the world doesnt have to live with you. Some things you can fight, somethings you have to accept. This should have been no more then an annoyance to you. Youre attempting to blackmail/embarass something out of them. I have a feeling your trying to get back both your ticket price and the extra you had to pay to transport your baggage. Which is more then likely your agenda.
