Did you send the CEASE COMMUNICATIONS letter by certified mail, return reciept requested?

Did you put the certified # on the letter itself, and keep a copy for your records?

Go to FTC.gov and file a complaint each time they call. It is the number of complaints that triggers FTC enforcement.

These violations are worth up to $1000 each plus costs to you under federal law. [FDCPA]. However, you have to sue to get it. Go to the NACA link on to get the contact info.

Make like 25-50 copies of your CEASE COMMUNICATIONS letter and proof of service, and saturate all fax machines at Merchants daily. Do it after hours so they cannot stop it and it will run the machine out of paper and toner.

Then they can't say they didn't get it!
