Midwest Marketing Concepts "you're exactly what we are looking for" Addison Illinois

Alright well, heres my story. I was looking for a full-time job on career builder. marketing and advertising seemed like the way to go. I came across Midwest Marketing Concepts, Inc. Now, seeing as how I went to Green Light Marketing last April, which ended up being door to door sales for Quill, I was suspicious before I applied. I went to there website. They said on their website, absolutely NO DOOR TO DOOR SALES OR TELEMARKETING. So I was like, maybe this place is legit. I searched online and didnt find anything bad about them.

So I applied, and was called for an interview. I showed up about 20 mins. late. I thought I blew it. The office was pretty standered, kind of bare, and a huge LCD tv that had electronica music videos playing. I also noticed on the door it said Midwest Marketing Concepts, but inside I saw a GQ logo. I was like wow these people have a fascination with GQ. Little did I know. So I filled out this survey.

Then I interviewed with this girl who seemed like she was in her 20's. When I got in there, did the whole interview thing, and then she asked do you have any questions? I had a field day with this. First I asked, is there a base pay or is it commision-based? She said there's both. I firmly stated I will not work on commision-based wages. She said that's not a problem. She then asked what am I looking to make? I said somewhere around 27-29K a year. She then was surprised and said, Only that much? and I said well I need a salary with which I can be sure to have enough for rent, bills, etc. She said yea no problem. She then said if I was picked I would get a call later on that day.

I left thinking I was screwed because I was late. Well, I got home, and immediatly went to sleep cause I had been up for so long. I checked my cell phone to see if I had call. I didn't so I thought I didn't get the job. Then, the next day, I checked my voicemail on my home phone. Sure enough, I got the call. I was scheduled for a 2nd interview on Monday. So now I am supposed to go Monday at 10 AM.

Well, I was searching online a little more to make sure, and I saw Midwest Marketing Concepts associated with GQ online. I immediatley looked at it and then I searched GQ Imports, which brought me here. And now I have become enlightened. haha. But I am however going to this "interview", and I am going to tell everyone else in the lobby what they will be doing for the day, and all the stuff I read on here. I will be sure to say hello to Mike Kriss for all of you, and let him know what's up. Oh and his Mercedes might accidently be parked to close to, and when I try to get out, I might accidently put a scratch in it. Might. Who knows. We'll see. But hey, in the .01% chance that it's an actual job, i'll let you know. Until then.
