MLCI is most appealing to those who welcome a non responsive company that does not answer to numerous e-mails and simply dismisses phone calls with an abrupt, "We will call you back." Never specifying when a phone call will be returned but of course that is irrelevent as there never was an intention to return a customer's call.

Prior to my receiving the royal treatment from Maple Leaf International Consulting, I had initially enrolled in an in class course totaling $1395. According to the website the dates of November 14th and November 21st were both available. I initially requested to enroll in the Nov. 14th class. I requested LESS THAN AN HOUR LATER to enroll in the November 21st course instead. PLEASE NOTE: THIS REQUEST WAS MADE LESS THAN AN HOUR AFTER I ENROLLED IN THE NOV. 14TH COURSE.

Nightmare, ACT I: Initially, I was assured that arrangements would be made to reschedule for November 21st. Finally, I was told after calling repeatedly that there was no availability in the November 21st course. I was then emailed lsat prep materials, without directions, and sent a link for an online course. Upon receiving the email I sent a request for a partial refund.

Nightmare ACT II: I had to withstand the lsat instructor yelling and arguing with a student b/c of an incorrect answer. This lasted for about 10 minutes as he then yielded to the students pleading for him to continue teaching as our money was being wasted. All of this took place during a scheduled conference call for the online course. A few students, I'm not sure how many but a few terminated the call.

Nightmare ACT III: Because I had exhausted all of my funds paying for the course I had no lsat prep course alternative, furthermore the company upon receiving my credit card information quickly took the funds out. I attempted with no success to retrieve the $700 difference to which I was entitled. Attempting to be civil I did not dispute the online course although it was terrible, my issue was paying $1395 for an in class course in which I never attended. The company initially assured me they would "look into a refund, call back, look into the situation further."

However, as I requested there response in writing, I was given the brush off. MLIC then ceased communication. I am certain that e-mails were received as I have confirmation on the receipt of every e-mail sent.

Finally after calling several times and leaving messages, I call from a number other than my cell phone number and was greeted by a customer service rep who once recognizing my voice yelled, "you're not getting a refund you got your class." I interjected "I had an online course for $695, you charged me $1395." He continued to yell and said both courses were the same. I have filled a complaint with the better business bureau, and will spread the word to my online community, most importantly, I am currently filling legal action.

Rashana Chunn received the best training and is misrepresenting facts here

Rashana Chunn registered in MLIC's LSAT Turboprep course in New York City and specifically requested November 14-18, 2008 dates. She was confirmed and set up with the required pre-course training. As part of the registration contract, she was required to agree to our registration clause that states that 'once your attendance is confirmed in the scheduled course and once you have have been set up with the required pre-course assignments, you will not be eligible to claim refund of fees for failing to attend the course. Your non-attendance in the course does not constitute non-delivery of service by MLIC." She agreed to those terms by placing her initials on the registration form. She could not have registered without agreeing to those terms.

However, she failed to show up at the course. MLIC commits resources on the basis of confirmed attendance of registering participants and wants to prevent fraud by competitors who may register under phony pretext, obtain our proprietary study and training materials which are the best in the business, and then turn around and claim refund. Rashana Chunn failed to attend the course and under the adhesive contract created by her registration, she could not claim refund for failing to attend the course. A lawyer-wannabe, she should know what contract law is about. Alas, she does not seem to understand the implications of the adhesive contract she entered into.

MLIC, as a special case and because she is a member of ethnic minority, allowed her to attend our virtual classes on the understanding that she was being done a favor. She received the best training and guidance from the virtual classes and scored well above 165 thanks to MLIC training. Now, she has shown her true colors by falsely trashing our company. MLIC provides the best training in LSAT assessment areas as her success will bear testimony.

If you require facts and want to ascertain the truth, call us at 1 212 682 5000 and we will explain to you why her report is fraudulent. She has sent us several apologetic letters and advised us that the guy who runs this Ripoff report is unwilling to take down her vexatious complaint. Again, MLIC offers the best training in LSAT and other standardized tests,

I find it quite funny that an employee from Maple Leaf International Inc., a HR and corporate training manager finds the time to respond to a post on ripoffreport.com but no employees can respond to customer complaints that are sent directly to the company. I have on several occassions tried to resolve this matter and received no response besides being yelled at by the Chief Executive. I was told "we are looking into it," for weeks and was rushed off the phone on several times as I attempted to probe further. Why tell a customer you will consider a refund if according to you a refund is NEVER warranted, which is a telling sign of bad business practice. I have spoken to previous customers and we are currently proceeding with legal action. I will not discontinue with legal action until I am granted the refund I deserve. According to the employee response, this is not possible, so I will see Maple Leaf International Consulting, Inc in court. I tried to avoid going to court but with faulty business practice as the previously described it's inevitable. Maple Leaf International, Inc only cares to respond as ripoffreport.com as this site appears in their google search. AWESOME!

I received horrible LSAT PREP FROM MLCI. I agree with another post that suggest "Kaplan, Princeton Review, or Baron's. Stay away from this company at all costs. It'll save you a headache in the long run!!!"
