MONITRONICS I keep getting calls to my do not call listed phone number - they act like they are General Electric and say I have won an alarm system etc. Person sounds like they are foreign - calls from Mexico et Columbus, Ohio

Monotronics keeps calling me on my "do not call" listed phone number. They act like they are General Electric. Tell me they "work" for GE. I have won a free home alarm system. Persons sound foreign. I tried to find a way to contact GE about this but GE doesn't seem to want to make it easy to report things of this nature to them.

This is not Monitronics but a company call VMS (Versatile Marketing Systems) based in Rhode Island. The use call centers in India to make the 1st sales call. If you bite then a 2nd VMS rep stateside calls to close the sale. I would suggest calling Monitronics directly. VMS is a dealer that works independently for Monitronics. If they know what they doing with their name it might help you.
