Morgan Communities Hudson View Estates Terrible parking, broken laundry facilities, and will charge you for bogus repairs when you leave Peekskill, New York

During my two year stay, I never made any problems for
anyone, and never had a issue with the apartment itself.

What I can say is - You don't have control of your heat (so
you bake upstairs and freeze downstairs).

If you get a one bedroom that means you get one parking
spot. Two bedroom, means you get two parking spots. Don't even think about
having anyone come over to your house, since the guest parking is pretty much
camped out in by people, like me, who had only one spot and two cars. I figure
since it is not the 1950s anymore, both my wife and I could have a car.

Oh yeah, the water bill is the same every month. Doesn't
matter how much you use or don't use cause they will charge you the same amount
ever time. Honestly, I wouldn't know how much I used cause the bill never had
any readings, and it didn't say it was an estimated reading either (don't know
how that works). All I know is, the last 30 days I was there, I only was
actually living in the apartment for about 26 of them, and my water bill was a
$1 cheaper (go figure).

All that said, I enjoyed my stay at the apartment for the
most part. People kept to themselves, and had great eat out options and stop
and shop locally was OK.

But let me tell you, if you do rent from Morgan Communities,
and you pay your bills on time, and take care of the apartment, they will still
try and take more money from you when you leave. I left my apartment in
excellent condition, from the carpets, walls, doors, bathroom, and kitchen. Yet
I still got a bill totaling around $300 saying there was a pet odor or urine
stain, their story changed by the day, and a dirty stove. I politely sent them
a letter outlining that the apartment was left in good condition, and even
though they violated my rights as a tenant and entered the apartment when I was
not there without my prior permission, that I would not be paying this bill.
They proceeded to send me to collections, nice huh? Well, thats okay, cause
what am I going to do? I don't need my credit rating hurt, and don't need the
long drawn out legal battle for $300, but I do hope that karma comes back to
Mr. Richard Calore (the property manager) and Morgan Communities for their bullying
tactics and taking advantage of small families like mine.
