Movecorp AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE Internet

This firm is clearly using the low quote scam to get your business then mysteriously doubling the price.

Our experience was very similar to other contributors except we had a lucky escape as they tried to pull the scam too early.We are moving from Italy to France and needed our stuff picking up one week for delivery the next.We tried various companies and Movecorp came in the lowest.We had both email and telephone contact with a Vicky Gaunt.We sent her an itemised list of property to be carried and she assured me the price was correct and that they would pick my stuff up store it for a few days then deliver it to France.We signed a contract and paid 50 deposit and started to make arrangements for getting ourselves to France.We then received an email to say that the price had increased by 3000.I spoke to Vicky who stated it was human error and asked to speak to a manager.An obnoxious individual called James Mallet phoned me back and did his best to wind me up and gave no apology or explanation.

Quite clearly we have had a lucky escape as the staff cocked up in trying to pull the scam too early and with the wrong person.
