Munday Chevrolet $500 for a KEY! Female in the headlights! Houston Texas

My security anti-theft system locked up. No crank, no start, no power at all. Stranded, I had my Tahoe towed to Munday Chevy.  I was told I had no choice but for the dealer to re program my keys.

The service guy at Munday insisted I give him both of my 'chipped' keys but he only returned one, 1 key, charged almost $600! and told me I'd have to pay more for the second key! This was a couple of years ago but now I've learned that 2 keys are needed to reprogram the anti theft system and I could even do it myself.

I'm furious!! They took advantage, manipulated and grossly overcharged. Munday has cost me another $200 for locksmiths and I'll have to go back to a dealer to get a matching spare key as well.
