National Geographic Society Out Sourced Jobs to India Internet
*General Comment: This is a ripoff in what way?
*Consumer Comment: Okay, I'll bite......
This is a big disappointment and surprise when I called in to renew my membership of 52 YEARS and found out I was talking to a National Geographic Society representative in INDIA! How could you, of all businesses, out-source American jobs to India?
National Geographic Society supports businesses in India but not in the USA!

How is this a ripoff? Did you not get something you paid for due to them being in India?
Sounds to me like you are just angry about them outsourcing, but that doesn't
make it a ripoff. It is a completely legal and common business operation decision to outsource jobs overseas.
If you are going to complain about businesses outsourcing jobs overseas, you
will need to complain about most companies you do business with that have call
centers. I prefer not to talk to call centers in India, I find it frustrating
myself sometimes when the skills they have in English can be really bad.
However, it isn't a ripoff, you not liking something doesn't make it a ripoff.
