National Union Fire Insurance called me, and said that this insurance program will help me when my other insurance wouldnt cover.
all i had to do was faxed a claim form with all the information they requested, which i did but never heard anything from them so i procedded to call the check claim number, and only got claim service , with workers not know what is going on, or didnt want to follow what i requested.
i have been calling them for four month, every week, 3 times a week and get the same respose every time, stating they didnt get the fax or they didnt receive the information yet, and a statement saying it takes 24 to 48 hrs to receive a fax, but remains to take insurance payment out of my account.
I changed the status to bill by mail, and now i get a payment is due letter.
I was told today Feb 15th 2011 that they dont have a number to call to check if fax has been received or not, and they do not let the policy older know that they did not recieve fax until they call back .
I am getting tired of getting scamd by this comany and request action.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

how to get your claim paid

First you'll want to call the claims line and choose the option to file a new claim. don't enter the policy #, get a rep on the phone. Once you get a customer service rep tell them you want a fax trace done on a claim you have filed several times. To do a fax trace you'll need to have the # faxed to, # faxed from, the time and date of the fax. ALSO you'll want to contact your department of insurance/insurance comissioner and file a complaint with them and advise the supervisor you speak with that you have already done so. As long as your claim is something that Should be covered under your policy limitations taking these steps should ultimately bring closure.
