This company, Nationstar Mortgage LLC, is criminal.  They charge late fees whenever they want and for however much they decide. My loan got sold to them 3 years ago and they have changed without notice, the dealine for payment due date.  It started as past due after the 15th of the month, then was moved up to the 11th (I wasnt notified until after a late fee and getting DAILY calls from their customer service reps.  The then moved the past due date to the 9th and I think it might be up to the 7th of every month.  Further, they reset the rates wuthiut notie, thus changing the minimum payment and ONLY contat customers when payent is past their imaginary due date.  

The late fees they charge are more than 10% which I have reported to the state attorney general in addition to the predatory practice of not notifying customers of changes in policy.  They are true scumbags and they have a dedicated team to handle complaints.  That's how patheitc their company is, that they had to hire people to handle the complaints.  

With my many attorney friends, I am contemplating a class action lawsuit against them.
