Nationwide Moving Services Moving Company Never Showed and Scammed Me for my Deposit. miami Florida

 I hired this moving company to move my 85 year old Aunt, from Florida to Pa. They quoted me a low price and took my Aunt's credit card for a deposit. We scheduled for a October 3-4, pick up.

Durring the week of the move, I tried calling them every day, starting on Monday, 3-4 times a day to confirm. They never returned my phone calls nor my emails. I sent several emails asking them to call me. I did not know what was going on and my Aunt was flying to Pa. on the following Sunday to her new home.

On Friday the moving company never showed,nor did they respond to my calls or emails. I had to hire another company for pick on Monday, which in turn made me 100% responsbile for moving my Auntie's house, and I live an hour an half from her.  I sent an email to them again on Friday to tell them that I would be disputing the charges on my Aunt's credit card.

I found out today that the deposit on my Aunt's credit card can not be cancelled, even thou I called several times and tried contacting them during the week of the move.

The other company that I hired told me that Brokers for moving companies do this all the time and you can not get your deposit back. That they come in a low ball a move then they never show and keep your deposit.

This is an 85 year old woman they scammed from, took advantage of, and robbed. This doesn't seem right to me that they are allowed to get away with this. I have filed other complaints on them and I will continue to do so......
