I stumbled onto NCSA when ordering photos of my daughter from a local sports photography vendor.  After an initial phone call I agreed to a screening call with a coach.  A "screening call."  They made it sound like "we don't work with everyone."  Make no mistake, my daughter was serious as any 14 year old who is forward thinking and has been playing her sport for 5 years.  But she is also very injury prone so I made sure to ask if an injury that was serious enough to put her out for the season or permanently would allow us to cancel.  "Yes, of course," we were told by "Coach Zowie."  (I trusted her because she had been a college coach, which I looked up while we were on the phone.)

While I didn't check Ripoff Report first, I certainly should have.  I did ask important questions.  My daughter was enthusiastic.  The following week, she took a hard hit in a game which broke her leg and put her out for the season and into next year for PT.  It also threw her into a state of anxiety and depression (literal, not figurative) because she didn't want to think about playing college sports when she can't even play out her freshman year.  She's not even sure she wants to go back to the sport as this was her fifth major injury.  A scholarship would be nice. However, it will not come at the expense of my child's enjoyment or psychological health.

I contacted NCSA and explained the situation.  Mind you, this was within 2 weeks of signing up (took a week to diagnose the break fully due to location)   They referred me to "financial aid" which basically is "we'll spread your payments out more."  We received NO services.  I asked for immediate termination of this agreement.  They refused and "Lexi Sotiros" sent multiple emails saying she's "sorry" but all they can do is keep taking my money.

I am cancelling the debit card this is drawn from and told them if they try to bully me into this, I know my rights.  I deal with multimillion dollar accounts and C-suite stakeholders every day in my career.  These scam artists don't scare me in the least.

Do not believe anything they say and make them send you a copy of the "agreement" to review thoroughly prior to authorizing anything.
