I tried using neteller to deposit funds into my neteller account. However, after two tries of visa credit card, they have been declined. My neteller account then stated they charged me a declined fee twice because of unsuccessful transaction. Never anywhere in their website stated they would charge decline fees for that.

I went on live chat and asked support to show me the website that says they would charge decline fees and she gave me this :

Credit Card - 1.75% fee
Use your credit card (or debit card in some regions) to deposit money instantly to your NETELLER account securely using Verified by VISA or MasterCard SecureCode. Note that many credit cards will not be successful due to the nature of many of NETELLER's merchants and restrictions that may be present upon your card.

Never in that clause says that they would charge a decline fees if failed.

All the support did was to say sorry and there's nothing they can do. They kept pushing the blame on my credit card bank in not accepting their company.

They claimed this :

  • NETELLER (UK) Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary  of NEOVIA Financial Plc) is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the United Kingdom as an e-money issuer (FSA Register Number: 229737; UK VAT GB 002 4257 28)
  • NEOVIA Financial Plc (Company no.109535C) shares are publicly quoted on the London AIM Stock Exchange under the symbol NEO
  • NEOVIA Financial hold's over 100% of on-deposit, un-cleared and in-transit funds in independent trust accounts for your protection
However, if you go to WHOIS and check out their website, they got everything to hide. It's all privacy.

I have reported this to the Internet Complaints department for misrepresentation of their terms. This site is a total fraud.

Hey, this is Kimber from NETELLER. Im sorry to hear about this.
We dont actually charge for declined transactions on credit card deposits. A
fee is only charged when the transaction is accepted.  We are more than
happy to look into your account to ensure that you havent been charged.
Please contact
