This company offers electric rates of 0.799 per KWH in mailings. In fine print it says this is an introductory rate and is subject to change based on market conditions. I called and asked what the current "market rate" was at the time and was told it was still 0.799 per KWH. The first month was .0799 and the second month was 0.1149 per KWH. The power company currently charges .1075 per KWH. That is over a 43% increase over their advertised rate of 0.799. This is a big scam to get you signed up and then they hope you don't notice the higher rate. I signed up with another company (at a years guaranteed price of 0.899 per KWH. Stay away from this scam. The web site shows "current rates" with this scam. Do not be fooled. Your rate will be much higher the second month.

First of all, no need to use UPPER CASE.. That is not proper etiquette. Secondly, read the terms and conditions befor you post a rebuttal. No need to insult people and call anyone an idiot. Let your data do the talking..
I will keep this short.. I am one of many to get screwed by NAP.. Even with reminders to re enroll for another term for fixed energy, the price almost doubled!!!. Check it out! Today's best gas rate is a whopping 59.9 cents.. And that is their Best rate.. If you go with the 100% clean its 79.4 cents.. So you see... Even if I set up reminders, and did everything right, by renewing gas with NAP would cost me double my local utility..
So what is their excuse now? You are either a shill for them, or you just drank their coolaid.. And dont just go by what I said.. Read the countless other complaints about them. How else can they pay for all those commissions and perks and free electricity for their reps.. They take from the poor and give to the rich.. Shame on them..
But sooner or later, everyone will realize what scam they are and they will be out of business..

THAT PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED IN 2011 WHEN THEY WERE A DIRECT SALES COMPANY,
SINCE THEN THEY HAVE CHANGED THE PROGRAM 100 %
ALL THE FALSE AND INCORRECT INFO IS BASED ON PEOPLE NOT PAYING ATTENTION
"QUESTION" IF YOUR CAR INSURANCE WAS ABOUT TO EXPIRE WOULD YOU IGNORE THE
RENEWAL LETTER .. ITS THE SANE WITH NAP
AS FAR AS RATES IVE BEEN ON THE SAME RATE FOR 5 MONTHS WITH NO PROBLEM
WHEN YOU CONTRACT EXPIRES ( LEGALLY THET CANNOT PUT YOU INTO ANOTHER 6 OR 12 MO CONTRACT
ONLY A VARIABLE RATE TILL YOU IDOITS WAKE UP AND REALIZE " YOU SCREWED UP "
THEY ARE NOW OFFERING ( FREE ELECTRIC TO ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS )
THEY ARE NOT A PAY TO PLAY PROGRAM , WHICH PISSES OFF THE OTHER PAY TO PLAY PROGRAMS
AMBIT , VIRIDIAN, IGNITE, ETC...
PLEASE WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR A THIRD PARTY SUPPLIER
CHECK THE RATES, AND IF YOU HAVE TO PAY A FEE RUN !
