I've needed help for over a year, with a hacker and the damage he created, but Norton can't ever find anything. Every time I contact them, I can easily spend two hours answering questions I already answered redundantly and frequently they will discuss irrelevant issues of no significance and even close the discussion in the middle of an answer. They excuse the obnoxiously redundant qeustions as verification after the verification process is concluded.

Two months ago, I wanted to see how long a technician could avoid addressing my issue, so I just answered their stupid irrelevant questions, without identifying the subject and waited. THE CONVERSATION LASTED THREE HOURS, so if you have an ergent issue, bring a lunch. Then I had a problem with my Photo Gallery pictures being blocked, so I contacted a Norton technician. He explained that such issues should be addressed by Microsoft, but he'd be glad to see what he could do. He opened them and then changed their ownership, which means control, from my name, to EVERYONE!

I reported my lack of control issue, created by their technician, to Norton and they said it wasn't their problem but they would help. The technician changed the ownership to me, but added system files and Word files to the pictures. I reported the issue to Microsoft Answer Desk. Their technician said the problem was the result of a malicious attack and offered their antivirus for $90. I told them that I purchased their Vista operating system, in 2007 and the virus attacks were so severe, I spent three hours a day, for two months, with Dell technicians and still couldn't stop the permenant damage. Dell refused to fix the computer, even though my full-coverage insurance was for three years, so I didn't want to buy virus protection from Microsoft, who sold me the Vista Virus. The technician promptly sent my entire seven-year-long collection of word files to the Recycle Bin, ruined the functionality of the Word program, sent my My Pictures and Word short-cut icons to the Recycle Bin!

The final technician from Microsoft Answer Desk concluded that I was robbed and offered to fix my Word program, so it would work. He repaired it so it can be used, but a word file, full of data, that I minimized, at the bottom of the screen, was emptied by the tech, when he closed the dialogue box. These mothers are predatory parasites and don't care if you stop using them. I'm certain they can't be sued successfully, or they wouoldn't act as hostile and as rdecklessly as they do and rob people of their intelectual property as if it's legal and we're fair game. I suggest contacting a local technician for your problems, instead of these La Cosanostra banditos. If you object to their version of help, or don't buy their crap, don't give permission to them, to control your computer.
