Now or Never Travel Rick Kenney, Richard Kenney Scam, rip off, NO FREE AIRLINE TICKETS Westlake, Ohio

I am writing this email today to discuss my horrible experience with Now or Never Travel in Westlake, Ohio.
 
On June 21st, my wife and I received a letter in the mail saying Congratulations .  Our Promotional Department has scheduled for you to receive TWO ROUND TRIP AIRFARES TO A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
 
To say the least I was pretty excited but also skeptical.  I called the 800 number (877-730-7549) and spoke with an operator.  She told me all I had to do was go to a hotel and sit through a 90 minute presentation about travel.  I asked do I walk away with the vouchers for the tickets, she said yes.  I asked are there any restrictions on travel, she said NO.  I asked do I pay any money up front, she said no.  (I will soon find out all of these answers are WRONG
 
Ok so my wife were off to the Radisson North Olmstead to listen to this presentation.  We did NOT have an open mind and frankly just wanted the free flights.   I told the operator that and she said no problem, its a gift for sitting through the presentation.
 
We arrived at the hotel about 10 minutes early and went to the registration desk.  We checked and in they asked for my ID and my credit card. I told them I am not providing a credit card at this time.  (Was pretty uncomfortable)
 
We sat down and watched the most unprofessional presentation Ive ever seen.  I think a 12 year old could have made a better PowerPoint presentation then these people did.  Every 30 seconds a question began with Raise your hand if.   Basically it was a horrible sales presentation but my wife and I wanted the free gift.  Remember the letter said Congratulations.  So we felt we won something. 
 
They spent 85 minutes of this presentation getting us all excited about different travel destinations.  About 45 minutes through my wife raised her hand and said, Can we cut to the chase, what is the cost.  Only to have her question ignored and back to the cruise ships. 
 
Also their website was horrible.  They were trying to show us a search of South Carolina destinations, and the guy typed in SC, and S.C. and it still didnt work.  Apparently it only works when you type in the exactly spelling South Carolina.  They clearly need some IT assistance because their search strings are horrendous. 
 
Also, they made it seem as though we were so lucky to be at the presentation that the owner showed up. The owner was Rick Kenney.  It was very obvious to me that he shows up at all the meetings.  He spent 15 good minutes telling stories about himself and trying to prove the credibility of Now or Never Travel. 
 
One person asked about their BBB rating.  He said they were such a young company they cant have a higher score.  What he didnt say is that he has 3 other travel companies in HIS NAME in the Cleveland area all with an F rating. 
 
Well anyways, presentation was over, and for some reason their sales people called off sick, so they only had 3 people to try and sell you on their product.  They told my wife and I to sit in the lobby until they were done.  We sat there for 30 minutes.  So now weve been there for 2 hours and my pregnant wife was not feeling well and we wanted our gift and to leave.
 
We finally got lucky enough to sit down with Rick Kenney.  One of the first things he asks me is Are you making over 50k combined income a year  Are you serious?  Good sales tactic.
 
I told him right up front we were not interested and just wanted our free gift.  He proceeded to continue and try and sell me on their product.  The price started at almost $5,000 but if I booked today it would be $3,995.00.  I told him my wife was pregnant and not feeling well and he said ok Ill knock it down to $3,500.00.  This is absurd.  I told him that anyone that makes a 3-5k buying decision based on a 90 minute presentation is stupid and that I wanted my free gift.   He did not give up. 
 
I then stood up, and started to walk out.  This guy was not giving up.  No company should implore sales tactics like this.  As a consumer I felt uncomfortable and this was very unprofessional.  Once I told him there was no chance I was buying his service, his attitude changed on a dime.  He ran out grabbed a voucher and threw it in my hands. 
 
I told him his company was a scam, and his sales tactics were unprofessional.  I told him that the company who brought me here told me things that were different than what he is saying, and he said well that company is made up of $8/hr employees and they probably told me the wrong thing or someone had a bad day. 
 
At this point I had had enough and began walking through the hotel lobby into the parking lot.  Sure enough Rick Kenney is following my wife and I out the door into the parking lot trying to tell me his company was not a scam.  I walked towards my car and he is right alongside of us.  This is borderline harassment, and my complaint today is to warn and consumer NOT to do business with this company and spend ONE cent on them.
 
I later found out the voucher he gave me WAS not free.  I had to go get a money order for $6.95 and send this OTHER company a certified letter with this money order, and STILL havent received any free flight.
 
Buyer Beware!  DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NOW OR NEVER TRAVEL OR RICK KENNEY!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Im sure when Mr. Kenney gets enough complaints hell just open another travel company.
