We purchased our home in July 2006. Remember this date you will see it again!
Within one year of purchasing it, our mortgage was sold to the "troll beasts" aka Ocwen LLC. Since then, according to the rude employees at Ocwen, we have never made a payment, and now owe $15,000.00 more than the house was appraised for.
When we took possession of our house, (Our first I might add), we did so in July 2006 with the first payment due in September 2006.
We are trying to refinance our home to get out from under the "troll beasts".
I returned home from work (I am a Law Enforcement Professional) my wife informed me that we are listed on our credit score as being 24 months late. Thanks a @#!% lot Ocwen. Remember the July 2006 date mentioned above? Although we haven't made every payment on time, we HAVE PAID our payments. We have gone through multiple forebearance notes and the like but they are leaching every cent out of us to the point that we are near 1 payment being 1/2 half of my monthly salary which is unaffordable, obviously.
No mortgage company (I am a decorated Combat Veteran as well) will help us due to our credit?
It is no use calling and being placed on hold only to argue with them, AGAIN, about this. I am pulling my hair out over this, have lost sleep, have related blood pressure and digestive problems over this with them. We thought that buying a house would be better than paying rent on a house with 6 acres for 2/3 less of what we are paying for our house!
We are most likely bound to give up the house and revert to renting again.
If anyone has any lines on help (I have read with great interest the other blogs reference Ocwen and of the 2 Class Action Suits against Ocwen) we would be eternall thankful.

I feel your pain. I have posted here before about Ocwen. There just seems to be no end to the shennanigans of this company. You know why? because our "elected officials" allow them to do this. I have complained and written countless letters to everyone and their grandmother about this "bank?" but no one not even attorneys are willing to take them on. As I stated previously, I dont know what is going on with the current lawsuit except that the plaintiff is now serving time on an unrelated charge, but we need to find an attorney who is willing to represent us all. The only attorneys I did find, claim that due to the company being based in Florida, (im in NC) they had no jurisidiction. Hello, arent lawyers supposed to communicate with one another? I'm sure if one of these NC lawyers got off the laptop and actually did some work he/she could find and attorney in Florida willing to work with them. Also, these attorneys want money up front and if we had all this money up front wouldnt we be paying ouor mortgage????? My credit rating has plummeted 100 points in the last 30 days due to inquiries trying to refinance aways from Ocwen. Now I cant even get approval for a car loan. THis is ridiculous that they are allowed to just destroy people this way. There is one firm that shows some promise and of course you have to pay them, but I think they are probably the most reputable that I have come across and the name is Joseph Pavia ( I think) I got it from a poster here on the ripoff report. They may be able to help, but Ocwen is just impossible to work with even for attorneys or other fiance companies. I actually lost two refinancing opportunities becuase they refused to give a written payoff quote. I wish we could post our email addresses or had a way to talk directly with one another, I think we could actually get something going. There are thousands of stories just here alone. Imagine how many have not reported? Well, I will keep checking back here and if I have any luck, I will definitely let EVERYONE know!
