I have recently discovered that i am not alone  my situation is almost identical to to many I have read involving these particular companies.  I started my mortgage with ameriquest transferred to ahmsi then it was transferred to homeward.  I was in a major accident and had to have surgery,which put me down for 6 months being a self employed contractor with no insurance and a single parent with custody of my daughter I fell behind on payments. House went into forclosure. I recovered from my injury the economy picked up I got a couple of decent jobs and I was able to rathole some cash after months of trying to negotiate a reasonable amount with homeward    I could never get a accurate figure from them for reinstatement I came up with $13,500 for a down payment for repayment plan with monthly payments of $2600 for six months.         I sent the down payment western union.   Because of the amount it had to be sent in 3 transactions $5000-$5000 then $3500 mysteriously homeward said they didn't receive one of the $5000 payment two days later they found it.  they said I didn't meet their deadline to receive funds. Finally I spoke with someone who said that they got it approved     3 weeks later I sent my first payment.   It was never received.  So I was put into default and went to court they were awarded summary judgement.    While unknown to me my loan was being transferred to Ocwen. Ocwen lead me to believe that they were here to help WRONG.        Nothing but the opposite.  I now have a sale date there is no record of my $13500. I have now been told to send them $18,500 if I want to keep my home.   These crooks must be stopped.  I have most of the funds but after reading how similar stories have ended not sure if I should
