On January 15, 2010 I contacted OmniTech Support, a company of Customer Focus Services, Inc. for computer support. I felt pressured into purchasing a 6 month service agreement. After three hours online, my problem was not resolved and I was told that OmniTech Support would call back the next day. I fixed the problem myself before they called back and sent OmniTech Support an email asking that the service be cancelled and my payment refund. On January 16, OmniTech Support said they would have someone call about my request. Despite several emails to OmniTech Support and Customer Focus Services I have not heard back from them or received a refund. I would highly recommend not doing business with OmniTech Support.

OmniTech Support

AUTHOR: OTS - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 09, 2010

Omni-Tech Support solves thousand of Microsoft-Office and Operating Systems issues that can be solved remotely. Many issues are often complex and take more than the 15 minutes free period to resolve. Some issues require hands-on service, so remote support wont work in these instances. Nevertheless, over half of our customers issues are remotely solved for the within the free period. This is an unmatched service offer!

This customer contacted us about a Microsoft Outlook issue on January 15th. As it was a complex issue, after the free period had expired, the customer paid the service fee and our technician continued to work on it, but issue was not resolved during that session, as the customer had to leave the session. We, later, contacted the customer to continue to resolve the issue, but customer was opted to request a refund. Because we could not continue to resolve the issue, we refunded the full amount paid by the customer via USAePay on February 5th 2010. We also called the customer and sent an email updating him about the refund.
