Less than a month after moving into my new home, my Air Conditioning Unit failed (after passing inspection.)  I called a 3rd party AC person and the Warranty company to come review my claim.  The Warranty people at One Guard had a local gentleman come review what was wrong with the Unit.  The Damages to the Unit at the time were claimed to total around 800 dollars, but only 400 to the Warranty company. After almost a week of getting the run around from One Guard, They claimed that the cause of this was a pre-existing condition and they were  not at fault, but would "help me out" and split the 400 dollars with me.  After a 69.00 Warranty fee and 202.00 Dollars (split with one guard home warranty) I assumed my A/C was fixed and my fiance and I could continue our lives. Less than one week later, the AC stopped working again and the Warranty people sent the Same AC company back out to review what was wrong.  Turns out the leak was in another part of the unit that is covered under the manufacturer and they would see what they could do even after one of their reps said "We will get it taken care of for you though. :)."  Well, that was a complete lie.  I got the run around for another four days (in Texas heat) and then they came back and said that there was nothing they could do to assist me.  So, not only did the company not do anything to help, they cost me even more money than they would have if they hadn't helped in the first place. Now, I am out the 271.00 and another 1183.00 to get the part fixed locally.  This is a disgrace and they are liars.  I have records of email communication where they said they'd help get it fixed.
