When you read what these people have said, one would have to agree they must have many potential buyers waiting in the wings and not only that, they can offer a much more attractive purchase to their buyer by offering financing, warranty etc.  Anybody disagree with that????

So my question is this:

If your operation is so-o-o-o good with so-o-o-o many buyers, why do you need to charge UP FRONT FEES?????  Afterall, your service is so good, you are virtually guaranteed a sale! 

This is nothing more than the timeshare scam applied to the car business.  Tell the seller they have so-o-o-o-o-o-o many buyers waiting to win the seller's confidence.  Charge the seller an up front fee and tell them "its for advertising".  In that way, they get money even if the car doesn't sell. The seller gets nothing.  Are there expenses in selling a car on consignment?  Absolutely.  But if that "dealership" has so much traffic, then they work on commission. 

This SCAM is like paying a real estate agent BEFORE selling your house.  Or you paying the 711 monthly whether or not you buy gas there. 

Bottom line...don't ever, ever pay anybody upfront for selling your car.  If they have so many potential customers, they will work on commission, due and payable and rightfully earned AFTER the sale.

Tim, Rob, or whoever you claim to be today, you are quick on apologies but slow to help.

Your business license is for ADVERTISING, not car sales. You are in violation of your business license, and have no dealer's license as required by NV Law.

She became flustered when it didn't appear and transfered my to a more experienced "closer" that gave me all kinds of excuses why it wasn't on google, but I could find it on Yahoo and MSN search. He preceeded to try to get me to sign up right away. But, I knew better! I told him I needed to do my due diligence and look into their business a little more... and here I am! I also looked into the link for their BBB, and it appears they are no longer a member - even though they proudly post a large BBB logo on their website and claim they are on their "about us" page.



I won't be using them and I'd say their "feature services" really aren't neccessary. (They seem to really push the financing angle - and geez, they're just using Capital one, which is accessable to everyone online.) If you place your own ads in Autotrader.com, Cars.com, and Ebay motors, you have pretty much covered the entire local and national online marketplace.

Someone filed a rebuttal to the claims made by Brad about One Stop Motors. The person who filed the rebuttal claims to be Robert Wilder, CEO of OSM in the body of his message. But Rip Off Report automatically adds the person's name to the end of messages. Suddenly, Robert becomes Tim. So, is it Tim pretending to be Robert or is it really Robert who also calls himself Tim?



Shucks, if he can do it so can I.

This response is in regards to Mr. Brad Foreman's comments noted after the "Charles of Las Vegas" complaint.



It's EXTREMELY discouraging as an owner to see an unhappy customer.

The only thing that's worse than an unhappy customer is a lie or false accusation made about your company.



Such is the case with the comments noted in the complaint above.

Brad from Princeton, ILL makes many accusations regarding the number of vehicles OSM assist in selling.



Brad has never been to the OSM offices and has never allowed OSM to render the services in which we claim. OSM has had numerous potential buyers for Brad's (from Princeton, ILL) truck, however Brad has denied this information. Due to the denial of a refund, Brad has attempted to make numerous (FALSE) complaints and accusations against our company. His accusations and complaints typically have zero value and are easily over come. The comments above are a perfect example of this.



Why Brad would claim OSM does not assist in financing or selling vehicles is beyond me. Financing and selling vehicles is what we do! This is like saying McDonalds doesn't sell hamburgers, simply not true.



OSM has a data base of over 40,000 buyers and sellers. When dealing with a volume of clientele such as this, eventually there are bound to be a few customers who feel we have failed. Rather they were buyers who were declined for the financing, or sellers who feel their vehicle should have been sold more quickly. The simple truth of the matter is OSM will always do it's very best to negotiate the best possible deal for both the buyer and seller. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee every buyer will always get approved for financing, or that a seller will sell their vehicle in a specific time frame.



OSM works with many banks, escrow companies, shipping companies, etc...

We are established and one the industries leading online vehicle sellers.



As I have mentioned in many of the complaints and accusations on ripoffreport.com, the comments posted above are false!

I do not discredit Charles for one moment. Nor, do I believe, would any of this company's thousands of clients. His testimony is only scratching the surface. It's interesting, Charles has them categorized under "Car Financing". Well, technically, I think that you would actually have to sell a car first to be considered such. That is just another one of OSM's lies. Get on their website. There is a link to Capital One Finance. Contact them on the phone. They have never heard of any such Onestopmotors. You really don't need to bother with financing when you really don't bother selling cars. I have dealt with them first hand and can verify they are trained and well seasoned liars. I find the fact that they are still in business a disgrace to Nevada government. If only the BBB of Southern Nevada disclosed the contents of their complaints. I just have to ask "what's it going to take"?

The above complainant is trying to blame One Stop Motors for something they had nothing to do with.



We sympathize with him for his unfortunate turn of events however; fraud warnings are clearly posted on the main page of our website as we want to help our clients to not fall victim to the myriad of various scams floating around by giving them as much information as we can muster and presenting it to them in a readily available fashion.



Had Charles contacted our customer service department as instructed in the welcome packet he received if he had any questions, comments, or concerns, we are steadfast in the belief that he would not have fallen victim to a scam.



It is our suggestion that Charles contacts his local police department's fraud unit and files a complaint rather than use his energy unproductively in an attempt to smear our company's name.



As for Charles claims regarding our services, it should be noted that One Stop Motors has fulfilled, and continues to fulfill, the terms of our advertising agreement. His claims of us only launching an eBay auction and posting an ad on our obscure website are not only ludicrous but false.
