ONTEL PRODUCTS SALON EXPRESS Order was $50, Shipping and Handling $56.92 Pacoima , California

Placed an order for three manicure kits for my daughters after watching the ad on TV. I knew I was taking a risk thinking that the manicure set may or may not be as good as they advertised them to be, but I was never prepared to spend more than $40 - $50.

The order, which according the shiping copy was worth $50 arrived more than four weeks later and I was charged $56.92 shipping and handling process for a total of $106.92.

I called the contact number, i.e. 1-877-833-2220, to clarify the matter, thinking that they had made a mistake. The message on the answering machine doesn't give you the option of speaking to a person, instead it re-directed me to their web address, i.e www.ontelproductsorerstatus.com.  

I then noticed that there were numerous ripoff reports on Ontel Products, most of them similar to mine.  I'm outraged that this has happened to me and I don't know what to do next. These people should be stopped!!

Please do not make the same mistake I made.  Do your homework and read about any company that advertises itself, before you purchase anything from them.  I've learnt my lesson the hard way.  Never again will I order by phone or via internet anything that I've seen on TV commercials. I'll do it the old fashioned way and go to the store and get it myself, no shipping and handling nonsense for me again.
