OSI Collection Services ripoff says screw you Memphis Tennessee

I was in an accident at work and was taken to the local emergency room for evaluation. I had not been assigned a workman's comp case # yet, so I was instructed by my company to provide the name and address of our EHS manager, which I did.

About a month later I recieved a letter from OSI stating that I had lied about my insurance information (which I never even gave to them in the first place) and that I was being sent to collections due to the fact. I called and explained to OSI that I had never provided insurance information to the hospital and provided them with the number of my EHS manager, but was told that I could not do so, and that since it was my fault it was all messed up that I would be held responsible for the bill until my company took care of it. (which by the way is not legal anymore, only the person who is responsible for a medical bill, i.e. "me" can pay the bill)

Finally, I convinced the hospital that I had visited to retract and rebill the amount correctly using my workman's comp info, and they did so, but the amount still showed up on my credit report from OSI as unpaid and responsibility falls on me. I contacted OSI yet again and was given the name of a man there who was supposed to clear the blemish off my report, but conveniently he never answers the phone or returns calls. To make matters worse, not only is the stuff still on my credit report it appears more than once.
